We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, how do you think about risk?
Well, what is life without risks? Life is literally all about taking risks. I’ve always been a optimistic person or a fascinating with let’s say magical things, alterations I feel each choice we make shifts timelines. So to me that’s motivational to understanding risks make life worth it. The biggest risk is not taking a risk. Over the years I’ve realized just how many people live in fear, and fear is what stops us. Their is always something on the other side of Risk. Whether it is an reward or lessons, either one you continue to push and move forward. Taking risks in my career and professional work has showed me that it builds confidence, teaches you responsibility and defines character. It teaches us how we can show up in the world. We must learn from our failures and also from our success.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I Fell in love with Art and creative expression I would say at about 13. That’s when I realized I was talented and gifted with creating visual art and sketching. I don’t just apply my creativity to just one aspect of things but all things it’s the way I see the world now. I would say the most challenging this for me was picking a lane and people telling me I could only do one thing. Because im so creative fashion wise , cooking wise and musically It was hard to find balance, and algorithm that worked just for me but I figured it out. I am a firm believer that art has no boundaries. This belief inspired me to create a non-profit for children to be able to express themselves creatively with resources to perfect their craft. The lesson I’ve learned along the way is to not share everything with people, just do the work diligently and let your hard works show for itself. Don’t get me wrong it’s ok to be passionate but when your cultivating make sure your sharing with people you trust , share your vision and work ethic! I want the world to know that it’s okay to be who you are and your authentic self. That if Only you believe in you that is enough! Things will always fall into place you just have to be patient let the universe and higher power guide you and maintain a pure heart space. It won’t be easy but it will be worth it. My work and social media presence definitely reflects that. I’m most proud of my ability to transmute energy and maintain my power and vulnerability. In this industry you have to be bold breve and courageous and that has taken me very far and still.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Omg yes I love to eat haha! I enjoy cooking so I definitely would take them to a nice restaurant maybe something I found on tiktok lol and just relax and go out in nature. I’ love to travel so I’d go just about anywhere honestly, I just know wherever I’m at we are having a time to remember!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Reading is important! Mentorship is important ! I would like to shoutout and share a few books that I’m currently reading 48 Laws Of Power by Robert Greene and Lead From The Outside by Stacey Abrams . I primarily love to read books about self care and development and spirituality. I’m also writing a book that reflects my spiritual journey and some of the challenges I’ve had to face as a adolescence independently.
