Hi Alexandra, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I believe that in the pursuit of your dream there are no risks that are not worth taking. Everything you experience comes in the form of a lesson, giving you an opportunity to try your
best each time. When you believe in yourself and in what you’re doing from the depth of your
heart, you will always succeed! I believe we create our own limits.
I believe taking risks has been a necessary stepping stone to my success thus far. In my
experience, beginning an endeavor within the medical field without a medical background
epitomized taking risks. Prior to getting into the medical field, I specialized in business
administration and real estate sales and investments. When presented with the opportunity,
although reluctant due to my lack of experience in medicine, I was confident that the skills that I
obtained within my professional career would nonetheless lead to a successful business and so
I took that risk! Doing so expanded my professional experience and provided opportunities to
expand my scope of knowledge within a new industry!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Intervent Clinical Research Center is dedicated to provide quality medical research (Phase II-IV). We have taken the time to assess the needs of our community and use this data to target specific indications in order to collaborate in the development of therapies for diseases of high incidence. We help connect hundreds of people with clinical research studies that offer treatments under development. We carefully match qualifying people to research studies. Intervent Clinical Research Center is dedicated to helping advance health research.

Intervent Clinical Research Center is a community oriented research site. We group together, our community by stablishing relationships with our patients, physicians within our community, and medical institutions, with the hopes of healing the medical conditions affecting our community. Our team of professionals have a extensive background on research and add that sense of caring to the health of each individual that participates in our trials. We actively participate in community events,

Intervent Clinical Research Center has a lot to grow, and is in the process of implementing innovation in order to reach out and help its community. Like every other business, Covid-19 greatly impacted our business. Being in the medical field during this pandemic was extremely challenging, and up to date we still in the process of recovering. Fear and distrust took over the world, therefore, people were very skeptical about participating in clinical trials.

I want the world to know that Intervent Clinical Research Center is here to help heal, to give access to health treatments, and to keep our community well informed.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami is well known for its beautiful beaches, exquisite multicultural cuisine restaurants, active night life, parks and wilderness, such as the Everglades Park.

I love and appreciate nature, therefore I would spend most of the time by the beach. I love sunsets at a tiki bar with live music. I will definitely recommend dinning at a restaurant in Brickell, Miami, or Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale. When I do party, I’ll go to my local favorite spot, Tribeca Restaurant & Lounge. Though is further North, I also find Downtown Delray Beach to be very entertaining.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am thankful to so many people through the journey of my career. I’ve had mentorship, support, and encouragement from my family, friends, business partners and colleagues, volunteers and participants, but very specially my main motivation has been my daughther, Jaylene Marte. She has been the inspiration to try to contribute into making this world a better place and trying to teach her by setting an example.
