We had the good fortune of connecting with Dasiel Hidalgo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dasiel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When we first got together , Dasiel , Albert and Daniel – our first thought process was trying to find something that can improve a consumers life. When first thinking about starting a business most people would feel discouraged based on the competition thats on their respected industry, we figured out a way to someone what win in the e-commerce industry vrs Amazon and big retailers. We were able to find items which were in high demand and beat any retailers price by 10%-20%. Once we figured that out it was about taking action. We all committed to the idea and took action and started All-Trades Mia. I would say we all had our feet wet before in the entrepreneur space before. We have tried different things in past individually and this time around we were coming together to achieve one goal – quitting our 9-5 and creating a self-sustained automated business. We have been at this for a year and half and we are still on the green, I would say for any small business this is a huge accomplishment. Most small business don’t last past 6 months or a year.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We like to call ourselves the neighborhood Amazon. Everything we sell can be found online on Amazon or some where else or our website. The difference is that we offer huge discounts compared to market prices all around. We do most of our sales in person I would 70% of our sales are in person and the rest are online. We are working to get our online sales up to try to make the work flow more automized. When we first started this business , we didn’t know anything about this. We just had sales experience and drive to achieve our goals and get it done. It has not been easy at all, we run into issues all the time and keeping up with the micro numbers does get overwhelming but this is what we signed up for so we get it done. Something I would like the world to know about our brand is that we are just like anyone else. If you have a goal or dream, big or small – just go for it. Life is too short to live in doubt and fear when there are opportunities everywhere. We are definitely a staple at The Swap Shop. Come see us !

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to thank each other for being able to take the good and bad and continue creating opportunities for ourselves. Our family for being a huge support to all of us and encouraging us to continue working even when times get tough. Our life partners for being able to handle the long work hours we all put in. We would like to give a huge shoutout to Youtube and all the hours of video we have programmed into our minds and have helped pave the way to where we are now and will continue to climb to.
