Hi Alexandra, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Be open to the unknown, and just keep going. You’re the only person holding you back. There were times where I wanted to give up but then I would remind myself that this is my passion and every time I would finish with a client, their feedback would always lift me up and make me want to do MORE! Also, having a really good support system helps. Meet other creatives or people who do what you do, and they will not only encourage you but they will forever be your cheerleaders.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Hey there! I’m Alexandra Sardi, but you can call me Alex. I’m a designer, content creator, and photographer with a magic touch that will bring your brand to life. ✨

It all started when I quit my 9-5 job at an ad agency in 2017, packed my bags for sunny San Diego, and hit the road with my twin sister to focus on freelancing full-time and launch our then jewelry brand, We Are Andrex. Immersing myself in the local creative community connected me with like-minded small business owners and opened my eyes to my true passion like never before. From that moment, I knew what I wanted to do – help small, creative business owners design the brand and website of their dreams and thrive in their businesses through strategy, research, and creativity. And honestly? I’ve never looked back.

Since then, I’ve moved back home to Miami and I’ve cultivated dozens of brands and watched them grow through carefully crafted design creations and glowing websites. And I am SO happy to be where I’m at today.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give the biggest shoutouts to my parents and sisters because they always follow their dreams and that motivates me to keep living mine.
