We had the good fortune of connecting with Silvia Ferrer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Silvia, what matters most to you?
Accountability for sure!
Each of us is responsible for our words, our actions, and how we live our lives… when we really understand and embrace this we open the door to live in coherence.
My peace, happiness, wellbeing is my responsibility. When I become accountable for my life I’m able to take actions, to move forward in the direction I need and I can leave the status quo of waiting for someone else to rescue me.
Do people have resistance to accountability? in most of the cases YES. We tend to blame, to feel victims or guilty before becoming accountable. Why? Because it requires to look inwards, to stop finger pointing to others and to give a new meaning to the word responsibility.
Accountability allowed me to reconnect with my personal power and overcome limiting beliefs that blocked me from living life at its fullest.
What should our readers know about your business?
I like to refer to Move Heal Grow as a wellbeing oasis. I have come a long way of learnings in the easy and not that easy way of how to live congruently and that’s what I offer to the people that come to me.
Through conscious movement like Pilates, energy healing with ThetaHealing and Reiki, Meditation and Bioneuroemocion to broaden your perspective I accompany people in their process to take ownership of their lives and to work at physical, mental and spiritual level.
I’m that step in your journey when you have decided to stop blaming the universe for “the life I have to live” and switch it to “the life I decide to live”.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Whenever I have dear friends visiting, as first thing I bring them to a Pilates class: Pilathon Wynwood, Pilathon Little River, Pilates Gaia in Coral Gables or Move 365 in Key Biscayne.
For one of the best Cafecitos in town: Suite Habana Café in Wynwood
For a delicious plant-based meal: The Plantisserie in Little River
For incredible bread: Caracas Bakery in Doral
For super good GF cakes: Code Wise in Doral
For a fantastic Mediterranean experience: LPM in Brickell
For an authentic Aegean Bistro: Mandolin
And Boia de for modern American cuisine experience.
Design District and surroundings are a must together with Wynwood and the beach of course
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
So many people I’m beyond grateful to… in my corporate years I had wonderful mentors and people who helped me to develop the business acumen and skills needed for a successful career.
Back to 2018, when I decided to made a life change quitting my corporate job to focus on helping people to heal through movement and energy, Pilathon Wynwood opened their doors to me as a second home. Their Pilates with soul style bewitched me to complete their Teacher training program lead by my Pilates mentor and dear friend Emily Bench.
Another extremely influential institute in my life has been the Enric Corbera instutue, where I completed my Master in Bioneuroemocion, that not only taught me a completely new method to accompany people to work on their wellbeing and way of seeing life but also taught me a new way of living.
Last but not least, a special shout out my beloved husband Marco who has supported me in all my dreams and projects, especially when I decided to found Move Heal Grow Inc. back in 2020.
