We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicholas Valme and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicholas, what are you inspired by?
After my experience with cancer, I focused on maintaining a healthier lifestyle to heal my body and further it’s growth and strengthening. not just through exercise, but by introducing a different fruits, seeds, and teas into my diet to battle free radicals and harmful additives we find in our food.
I’m a people person and I want to help people find the best ways to lead an active life.
I love being able to connect with my clients on the importance of daily functions so they can lead happy and healthy lives.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a personal trainer and health coach I prioritize my clients health and mental well being. The difference between myself and others are our experiences, the same goes for the other individuals in my industry. We are all unique and that is what sets us all apart from each other.
What intrigues me more than anything is seeing my clients, friends and family start living in a positive and healthy life inside and out. as long as they are genuinely happy within.
The road to becoming a Personal Trainer & Health Coach hasn’t been easy. I wouldn’t change the process it took me to get here, I learned mental fortitude and the “Never Die” attitude from being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
My goal is to provide empathy for individuals going through their own struggles. We all have our own path to forge as humans and we must be able to relate with one another to help one another.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s plenty to do in the Magic City but let’s not forget that if you’re hanging with me; you’ll end up with me at the gym for a nice cook-up (sweat session) of the mind, body and heart.
Thereafter, we most likely will go to Soul Fresh Juice & Fruit Bar to grab a post workout meal or one of their delicious smoothies, followed by dinner or dancing (depending on the friend).
The following day, we could visit museums or Super Blue, which is a whole experience on its own.
There are endless possibilities!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I have to thank my mother and father for always being there for me, especially in the toughest of times. Second to my two younger brothers, Julien and Gregory, at times they feel like my little big bros always providing insight and encouragement to me.
Big shoutout to my friend Bruno for always believing in me just like my family does, helping build, managing HSWN with me.
Adrian for being a huge mentor in life and inn the fitness industry, teaching me the ins and outs to becoming the trainer I am today.
Thank you to Mr. Wim Hof, Les Brown, Jim Rohn, Alan Watts, Top Shottas and anymore.
