Meet Noelle McInerney | Founder & President

We had the good fortune of connecting with Noelle McInerney and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noelle, how do you think about risk?
I think resilience is a gift that my parents gave me long ago. I watched them open – and then close – a restaurant when I was young. Despite the restaurant’s failure, it never broke their spirit. I think from a young age, I haven’t been scared to fail because I’ve seen it as a chance to start something new. More practically, I also am not afraid to hustle. Meaning – I know how to take care of myself, whether that means waiting tables at night to fund my time starting a business or going for big pieces of business. The chance of making it happen is just as real as the chance of it not working out. When I took the risk of starting Ladidadi, I jumped in with both feet, focusing on the fact that I knew events well and sincerely loved what I was doing.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Ladidadi Events & Incentives is a boutique corporate event planning business. We are a virtual company – our planners live across the country and we plan mainly travel-based programs for our clients from tip to tail. We specialize in Incentive Trips, Sales Kickoffs, Leadership Retreats and Company Meetings. One of the things that sets us apart is that our senior planners are with our clients throughout the entire process, we don’t turn over our events to others to execute on site. This keeps us 100% in the details every step of the way.

I think my network really helped catapult our business. What we do is so trust-based; referrals and word of mouth are EVERYTHING, and so our growth has been a testament to our work in that our clients have shared their love of Ladidadi with other people in their networks.

Lastly, I think that operating an events business through Covid has really made me appreciate what we do even more. I always have loved creating experiences for people – it’s the most rewarding feeling when you get to watch people have a once in a lifetime moment at one of our events. But seeing it all be taken away so quickly has made me relish in it even more. At Ladidadi we don’t take ourselves too seriously – we are planning parties, people!! So our company name rings true – #ladidadiweplantheparty

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Amen! Ladidadi is nothing without my TEAM. I am so lucky to work alongside the most incredible, powerhouse group of WOMEN. They have been with me through it all – including when our business shut down completely during Covid – and helped build our business back to what it is today.
