We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelly Fischer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelly, what principle do you value most?
Depth. It’s an extension of my very ethos.

I question why characteristics of our human condition are grounded in developmental thought while others are anchored in surface-level observations. Likewise, the spectrum that lies between. This goes for everyday conversations to catalysts behind brands building consciousness.

What should our readers know about your business?
Depth Theory is the digital marketing studio specializing in brand development for brands in the business of raising consciousness.

Marketing meets mindset as Depth Theory supports and grows brands as a true extension of the founder. By increasing brand awareness and establishing authority in the realm of wellness we’re able to reach aligned audiences through content marketing. Diving beyond the surface level —we allow founders to have time away from the screen to immerse in the little things of life which in turn leads to “aha” moments for their businesses’ larger vision.

Our ultimate mission is to support like-minded women in their pursuit to deepen wellness. When was the last time you were immersed in the little things of life? Went for a mid-day stroll? Had an afternoon backyard yoga session under the sun?

We’re here to give founders the ability to participate fully in scaling their businesses while having the meaningful time to add depth to their businesses (and life). Or you know, see outside.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Time for some nourishment of both the mind and body! We’ll bike to the Lauderdale-by-the Sea Farmers Market for a delicately baked pastry and conversations that fuel the soul as we walk along the coastline looking out at the conditions. Questioning whether we want to swim or not. Of course, the answer is always: yes. We’ve brought our latest reads and laid out our linen towels and gelato is probably in order on the main shoppe street in LBS.

Biking over to Cyth is an absolute treat for a balanced blend of espresso and oat milk. After expressing gratitude for the morning flow it’s time to take a peek at the new vintage finds from Rehaus just a short walk away in Oakland Park. By the time we’ve redesigned our entire flats with mere imagination from Rehaus’s sustainabily sourced furniture— it’s time to explore Hugh Birch State Park. Treating ourselves to a locally brewed favorite at Park and Ocean we’ll sit under the seagrape canaopy and chat with locals alike.

A dinner at IL Paesano fosters an appreciation for the little things in life as we sit and laugh through a soul-nourishing meal at the family-owned eatery with only a few tables to share.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d adore fostering a focus on the CEO of Home Studio List — Hannah Pobar, for providing me with day-one insights into operational standards and systems for a business built with community at its core.

A must mention as well; from a foundation of virtues and values practiced some odd two thousand years ago to today, the practices recognized and developed by Plato, Seneca, Alan Watts, and nature itself have allowed a consistent flow of building both a conscious business and life.
