Meet King Hoodie | Recording Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with King Hoodie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi King, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
To be a thriving independent artist and entrepreneur, capable of opening doors for others.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My journey absolutely wasn’t (and still isn’t) easy, however it is extremely gratifying. Making music the way I do is a life calling at its finest.
Along the way I’ve learned to have enormous faith in more than just myself, trust GOD and the process, and remain positive in all things.
I overcome my challenges by overcoming.
I would like the world to know that my brand story is about empowering this world to be better in all ways. We have so much potential that we habitually fail to use and my goal is to bring that out in us.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love my neighborhood (North Miami Beach) Also certain spots in Wynwood, and definitely going to the beach.
I’d take my friends to each of these spots, for sure.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would definitely say, aside from my team (Appeljax, Marcus Majors & Beats By Yee) one book I owe much of my success to is “The War Of Art By Steven Pressfield. It changed my life, for sure.
