Hi Maria, what do you attribute your success to?
The success of our brand, deMaria Jewelry, can be attributed to five crucial factors.

Firstly, we firmly believe that jewelry should not only adorn but also empower, instilling confidence and a sense of uniqueness in every woman who wears our pieces.

Secondly, our fusion of modern and classic design, along with the craftsmanship of our hand-made pieces, radiates elegance and style, setting us apart from the rest.

deMaria Jewelry is a Miami-based jewelry business founded in 2015 by me. The goal of the brand is to empower women through stylish and contemporary handcrafted jewelry that inspires confidence, uniqueness and elegance.

Our collection includes unique pieces released throughout the year, along with seasonal collections, ensuring a constant flow of fresh and innovative designs.

I am passionate about creating new collections with fresh inspirations and ideas. I love it when my clients tell me, “You have so many new things!” That’s my greatest satisfaction! I thrive on creating, creating, and creating!

For example, we have recently launched a men’s collection called deMan, drawing inspiration from the sea, nature, freedom, and rebellion. Each piece in this collection captures the essence of these elements, blending rugged elegance with a sense of adventure.

About business I learned that starting a successful venture requires a deep passion for the business idea, something you genuinely want to dedicate countless hours of work to. If you believe it’s a strong business concept and you dare to launch it, the odds of success are high. However, patience, perseverance, and family support are crucial factors. Without them, it can be challenging to achieve the desired results. Building a successful business often takes time, effort, and the ability to navigate through challenges that may arise along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Start the day with sunrise yoga and meditation session on the beach, followed by a refreshing açai bowl, avocado toast and coffee from a local beachside café.

A bike ride through Miami Beach is an enjoyable and scenic way to explore the city. Start at the boardwalk at South Pointe Park in South Beach and ride up to 40th Street. Another ride option is to cross over to Key Biscayne and explore Crandon Park or ride along the Rickenbacker Causeway.

Miami is a modern city with a great offering of contemporary art from local and international artists, so you can visit the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA Miami), among others. These are ideal destinations to immerse yourself in the city’s contemporary art scene.

Head to the iconic South Beach to relax on the beach, read a book, and swim in the blue waters.

Explore the Wynwood Walls, a street art filled with colorful murals, or experience the Design District, known for its luxury shopping.

To end the day, dine at a waterfront restaurant in Little River or at a rooftop, enjoying Miami’s wonderful climate and views.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my father, his guidance and support to make things better whatever happens. My father’s experience as a Spanish immigrant in Chile, and mine, here in Miami, has taught me valuable adaptability skills that have been crucial in my journey.

In addition, I studied design, a career that teaches you the ability to solve problems through creativity, allowing me to respond creatively to various challenges.
