Meet Dr. Mary Nochimson | Chiropractic Physician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Mary Nochimson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Mary, how do you think about risk?
I would say that the year 2020 presented with many risks… risks to stay covid free while providing the BEST quality of care for my patients. Wanting to help people heal exceeded my fear of contracting COVID. The biggest risk I took this year is publishing my first children’s book amidst the pandemic. The amount of money invested in a children’s book can range from $2500-$5000 depending on numerous factors. Given the fact that we are in a little bit of a financial pickle with shut downs and people’s fears stopping them from seeking chiropractic treatment, this definitely was a risk; however, I have received positive feedback from family and peers which motivated me to take that leap!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What separates me from other Chiropractors is that I do all my own chiropractic adjustments, massage, acupuncture and other therapies. When patients come to see me, they get 100% of my undivided attention. I don’t pawn them off on other people, and I think that’s what they appreciate most. As an example, It may be the only place where you can be getting acupuncture on your low back while I am doing trigger point massages on your neck.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh my! That’s a hard question. I had the most fun in Key Largo where I went parasailing, jet-skiing and kayaking. Definitely a good time and an escape from reality.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would say my family and friends deserve a ton of recognition. There aren’t many chiropractors who are also licensed massage therapists who are certified in Acupuncture, Craniosacral, bamboo massage, ashiatsu and other modalities. It was family and friends who made me realize my worth as a holistic healthcare provider. My patients also deserve recognition as they are the force that drives my practice. Their loyalty and their appreciation of what I do is what keeps me 100% satisfied with the career I have chosen.
