I’ve always been a drama queen to be honest. My parents and family can vogue for that! I think being an artist is something I’ve always been and it in a way choose me. It’s one the biggest passions in my life and I love it so much. When I am creative weather it be writing a play, acting or directing it’s as if my whole being is electrified. There is no greater feeling than to do what you love. Is it hard, yes! But as the saying goes anything worth having is worth working hard for. I’ve always had a love for art. I never knew how to channel it for the longest. It was not until I was in high school, I took art for the first time and my teacher was amazing. She motivated me to expand my horizon and try new things. So, I did and won an award at a local art show. It was one of the greatest feelings because I had worked so hard on the painting. There was a lot of self doubt. I had to deal with and work through. Is my work good enough? Am I capable of this? I went to school for business but found out that’s not what I wanted to do. I really wanted to create art. See, you can go all around the world and try things but you will always come back to your first love. My first love is to create. Creative minds don’t have many choices in order to be happy and fulfilled. As an artist, I create art just because I cannot live without it. I would paint or create even if it wasn’t my job.
