We had the good fortune of connecting with Jayson Benjamin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jayson, how do you define success?
I see myself as the blueprint. Every thought I conceive and every word I speak creates a blueprint that my mind strives to manifest into reality.
As a real estate broker associate working with Keller Williams Legacy in Weston, FL, I define success as achieving significant milestones while embodying the spirit of entrepreneurship and focus. Like Jay Z famously said, “I’m not a businessman; I’m a business, man!” This mindset emphasizes the importance of personal brand and entrepreneurial zeal in the industry.
Swami Vivekananda’s quote, “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life…” underscores the power of singular focus and dedication. For me, success is about committing wholeheartedly to my goals in real estate, supported by the encouragement and strength of my powerful network—my family and friends.
In my pursuit of success, I adhere to these words: work diligently, maintain my focus, and refuse to settle for anything less than greatness.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m excited to share my journey in real estate, particularly as a successful broker associate at Keller Williams Legacy in Weston, FL. What sets me apart is my dedication to client satisfaction and proactive problem-solving. Overcoming challenges wasn’t easy—it took hard work, perseverance, and learning from mentors and industry trends.
Through resilience and adaptability, I’ve learned the importance of integrity, transparency, and exceptional service. I prioritize genuine connections and strive to create lasting positive impacts for clients and the community. Starting my own business was a bold move driven by a desire for independence and meaningful impact.
In the words of Maya Angelou, “People will never forget how you made them feel.” This philosophy drives me to prioritize empathy and care in every client interaction.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale is the ideal spot for a week-long getaway with your best friend. This vibrant street is filled with art galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and bars, providing a diverse range of activities.
You can kick off your trip by settling in and then heading straight to Las Olas for a leisurely afternoon exploring the boutiques and galleries. Enjoy dinner at one of the acclaimed bistros and end the night at a lively bar. The following day, start with a relaxing morning at Fort Lauderdale Beach before returning to Las Olas for lunch and a scenic water taxi ride along Millionaires Row. Evening brings waterfront dining with stunning views.
For cultural exploration, visit the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens in the morning, then head back to Las Olas for a casual lunch and boutique browsing. Enjoy live music at night. Another day could include a nature trip to the Everglades for an airboat tour and wildlife spotting, followed by laid-back dining and exploring nightlife.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family—my parents, and my brother —has played a crucial role in supporting and guiding me. They’ve always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and never give up. Watching my parents in real estate and building a national e-commerce brand and clothing brand inspired me to follow a similar path. They provided me with tools and knowledge that I’ve used to elevate my pursuits. Their guidance and belief in me have been crucial to my success, and I’m incredibly grateful for their support. Additionally, two books that significantly influenced my thinking and contributed to my success are “The 48 Laws of Power” by Robert Greene and “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne.
