Hi Paola, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Our purpose.

To inspire others. We do this by being ourselves—by staying unique, creative, and inspirational.

Our aim is to inspire people to be bold and unique, to embrace their individuality without fear.

We believe that what makes something or someone special is their true uniqueness. By daring to be different, (like an Avocado beer) we inspire others to dare to be unique, to use that uniqueness as a strenght. We want to inspire people to step out of their comfort zone, and maybe even to think outside the box.

Of course, we back our message with a quality product—Our beers come from Mexico, where we´ve won multiple awards, medals, and recognition for their excellence. Beers that use quality ingredients and have a thoughtfoul process behind.

The AvoBeer Story

Purpose and Creativity
AvoBeer was born as a family business in the midst of the pandemic, hailing from the lush avocado lands of Michoacán, a region renowned for its rich avocado production. We created AvoBeer, a unique and innovative beer made with different elements of the avocado, such as avocado leaves, avocado pit, and avocado blossom honey. We blend the refreshing qualities of these ingredients in our beers to create unique brews.

Our purpose is to inspire others by being ourselves—unique, creative, and inspirational. We aim to inspire people to be bold and embrace their individuality without fear. By daring to be different, like an avocado beer, we inspire others to step out of their comfort zone. Our quality product backs our message—beers that have won awards, medals, and recognition for their excellence, using quality ingredients and thoughtful processes.

What truly sets AvoBeer apart is our commitment to our purpose, quality, and innovation. We are pioneers in introducing avocado into the beer-making process, creating a product that is not only delicious but also embodies the essence of Mexico. Achievements and Pride
Our beers in Mexico have garnered awards and medals both nationally and internationally, which is a testament to our quality and the passion we pour into every can. From earning national medals to being awarded internationally, these achievements fuel our brand and keep us believing that dreams come true to those who work hard for them.

The Journey and Challenges
The journey has not been easy. Starting a business always comes with its set of challenges. From perfecting the recipe to navigating the complexities of regulations and market analysis, each step required determination and resilience. Establishing our presence in the USA, a much more competitive market with a different distribution scheme and its own challenges, has been significant. We are building relationships and adapting our strategies to fit different cultural and business contexts.

Our Launch in the USA
Right now, we are venturing into the USA market, starting with the south of Florida. As our launch, we released a Premium Mexican Lager crafted with organic avocado blossom honey. This beer is now available in Miami, mainly in Mexican restaurants and cantinas, and a few supermarkets (Plum Market) and liquor stores. We are actively looking for distribution channels to expand to other states and will also be venturing into the Spanish market. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited about the potential for AvoBeer to become a beloved brand.

Our Values and Principles
Being positive, being inspirational, and spreading good vibes are the values that matter most to us. Our goal is to inspire and encourage people to be their authentic selves. When individuals live without fear of criticism or judgment and let their true colors shine, amazing things happen. The nicest pieces of art, music, and creativity are born from this authenticity. By embracing these principles, we hope to create a ripple effect that inspires others to do the same.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was in the area, I’d definitely take her around! We’d start with a nice ceviche at Miami Beach, then catch a sport event, either an Inter Miami match or a Miami Heat game. We’d enjoy a concert or a comedy show for some entertainment. For a night out, we’d hit Cantina La Veinte and enjoy some AvoBeer. We’d spend a relaxing beach day at Sunny Isles, along with a BBQ at home with friends, enjoying more AvoBeer. We’d explore Aventura Mall for some great shopping, visit Brickell City Centre for its vibrant atmosphere, and check out the street art and cool spots in Wynwood.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely! I’d love to give a heartfelt shoutout to some wonderful people who have been a huge part of AvoBeer’s journey.

First, to my dad. He’s been my pillar from day one, always supporting and encouraging me. I couldn’t have done this without him.

Another shoutout goes to Carlos, my boyfriend. He always believes in me, even when I have my doubts. His support keeps me going through thick and thin.

And, of course, a massive thank you to the incredible team at AvoBeer. Most of them are strong, hardworking women who are challenging gender roles in this industry and breaking the stigma around it. Their passion and dedication have truly brought AvoBeer to life.
