We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaac Saiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Isaac, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I always felt I can offer a better, unique product and service to my clients. I spent a few hours writing a business plan and got to work, knowing I would have to pivot many times along the way. I had very little resources but you only live once. I knew deep down I would succeed. Taking consistent action will always get you a head of the completion.
What should our readers know about your business?
I have been a trainer for 15 years. I have learned so much along the way as for as the human body and how each client has different movement patterns and needs. How to properly assess an individual client. How to manage my business financially. Which lead me to start Condo In The Keys, a short term rental property I acquired after hurricane Irma in 2018. I had a vision how I could create value and a better service than the competition. The property looked like it was hit by a bomb but I had a clear vision on how it would look after lots of hard work. It took me three months of “Sweat Equity” to get the property up and running.I would work all day in Miami training clients then go to the condo in Tavernier to work on the property. Today it’s a well oiled machine. This helps take stress off my finances when training slows down in the summer when the NFL off-season ends
I overcame lots of challenges by referring back to my goals I wrote down before my journey, a strong work ethic, and lot discipline and prayers.
I have always treated my clients with care and respect. Word of mouth and referrals are my only marketing tool. It’s the best compliment one could ask for.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would first take them to the Keys and stay at my condo for a few nights to experience Keys living and the nearby coral reefs. We would eat at Mile Marker 88 in Islamorada. Then We would make our way up back to the mainland and visit the Everglades. Make our way up to Orlando and stay at Shades Of Green and visit Disney World for a few nights.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to make a shoutout to my family, friends, coaches, and clients for always believing in me when things were not going as planned. I truly appreciate the love and support
