We had the good fortune of connecting with Robson De Sa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robson, what matters most to you?
When it comes to personal and business values, the principle that matters most to me is authenticity. In the realm of running my own activewear brand, authenticity is crucial because it builds trust and fosters genuine connections with my customers.

Personally, authenticity means staying true to who I am, my values, and my vision for the brand. It drives me to create products that genuinely reflect my passion for quality, sustainability, and style. In business, authenticity translates into a transparent approach with customers, ensuring that every product we offer meets our high standards and aligns with our brand ethos.

By prioritizing authenticity, I can build a brand that not only stands out in the market but also resonates deeply with people who share similar values. This alignment between personal conviction and business practices creates a strong foundation for long-term success and meaningful impact.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a dedicated fashion professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Miami International University of Art & Design, where I graduated in 2019. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in the dynamic world of fashion, gaining hands-on experience in various roles including Assistant Designer, Fabric Coordinator, and Activewear Designer.

My journey in the fashion industry has honed my skills in identifying and setting trends, understanding color dynamics, and creating detailed tech packs and illustrations. I have a keen eye for both the creative and business aspects of fashion, which allows me to contribute effectively to both design and strategic planning.

I’m passionate about blending innovative design with practical business insights to drive successful fashion projects. With a strong foundation in design and a sharp understanding of industry trends, I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to further my impact in the fashion world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Absolutely! If my best friend was visiting Miami, I’d make sure they had an unforgettable time with a mix of iconic spots and hidden gems. Here’s the plan:

Wynwood Walls – Next, we’d explore the Wynwood Walls for some incredible street art and murals. It’s an outdoor gallery that’s perfect for photos and has a cool, artistic vibe.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens – For a touch of elegance and history, we’d stroll through the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The architecture and lush gardens are stunning and offer a peaceful escape from the city hustle.

E11even Miami – If we’re up for some nightlife, E11even is a must. It’s a high-energy club with a variety of entertainment, from live performances to DJs. It’s perfect for dancing the night away.

Brunch at The Rusty Pelican – To wrap it all up, we’d have a relaxing brunch at The Rusty Pelican with incredible views of the Miami skyline and a delicious menu to match.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I just wanted to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to all my amazing friends who have supported me through thick and thin. Your encouragement, advice, and positivity have made all the difference, and I genuinely appreciate each and every one of you. You know who you are, and I’m so grateful for your unwavering support!

And to those who haven’t been as supportive—thank you too. Your presence and experiences have taught me resilience and self-reliance, and for that, I’m also grateful. Sometimes the bumps in the road help us grow in ways we never expected.
