We had the good fortune of connecting with Virginia Toliver-lyons and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Virginia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind Love & Logic Skincare’s success lies in our passion for crafting skin-nourishing products that truly elevate daily routines. As we move into 2025, this commitment deepens with our new line of artisan homemade soaps. Each bar is thoughtfully created using pure, natural ingredients, reflecting our love for handcrafted quality and personalized care. And because we believe in giving our customers exactly what they want, we’ll still offer made-to-order bundles for our popular lotions and scrubs, adding a layer of exclusivity and customization to our range.

At Love & Logic, our success isn’t just about skincare—it’s about creating an experience that resonates with those who value authenticity and wellness in every step of their regimen.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My professional journey with Love & Logic Skincare is deeply rooted in the values of family, wellness, and craftsmanship. The idea for Love & Logic began with a desire to create skincare that goes beyond simple beauty—our mission is to offer products that nurture both body and soul. My daughter, Jasmine, represents “Love,” and her warmth inspires the artistry and compassion behind each product. Jason, my son, represents “Logic,” grounding our work in integrity and quality. Together, their influence shapes the core of everything we do.

Through the years, we’ve expanded our line to include artisanal soaps, lotions, and scrubs, each crafted with premium natural ingredients and a commitment to excellence. Our focus is on delivering handcrafted, ethically made products that people can trust. For me, Love & Logic Skincare isn’t just a business; it’s a way to create meaningful connections with customers who share our values.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting South Florida, I’d plan a week filled with the area’s best sights, flavors, and experiences! We’d start with the beaches—there’s nothing like watching the sunrise over the Atlantic, so I’d take them to a spot like Hollywood Beach, where we can relax, grab breakfast at a classic beachfront café, and maybe rent some bikes to explore the Broadwalk.

Day 2 would be a taste of South Florida’s diverse food scene. I’d start with Cuban coffee at a local ventanita, then lunch at Versailles in Little Havana for authentic Cuban food. We’d walk off the meal with a tour of Wynwood Walls for some iconic street art and finish with dinner at a local seafood spot like Garcia’s on the Miami River.

For mid-week adventure, we’d head to the Everglades. Airboat tours are a must to experience South Florida’s unique ecosystem. Afterward, maybe grab some fresh gator bites (a true local specialty!) and then catch sunset cocktails at a tiki bar back on the coast.

Day 4 would be all about art and culture. We’d visit Pérez Art Museum in Miami for contemporary works, then stroll through Brickell for some city vibes, capping off the evening with live jazz at a local speakeasy.

As we near the weekend, I’d set aside a day to explore Key Biscayne or take a day trip to the Keys for some snorkeling or diving. After a full day in the water, we’d return for a classic South Florida seafood dinner.

And for the grand finale, we’d spend the final day relaxing in style. A brunch at a local favorite like The Foxy Brown in Fort Lauderdale, followed by a spa day or a sunset cruise to soak in those final coastal views, would wrap up the trip perfectly. South Florida is full of energy and hidden gems—ideal for an unforgettable week.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
For Love & Logic Skincare, my shoutout goes to my incredible children, Jasmine and Jason. Jasmine represents the “Love” in our brand—her kindness, warmth, and creativity inspire the soul of everything we create. Jason embodies “Logic”—his curiosity, analytical nature, and attention to detail shape the quality and consistency our customers count on. Together, they’re my constant motivation and the essence behind the brand.

This journey has also been enriched by the support of our loyal customers who believe in our mission, and by mentors who encouraged me to merge passion with purpose. This shoutout goes to everyone who has been part of Love & Logic’s story. Thank you!
