We had the good fortune of connecting with Dynalee Santos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dynalee, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Since I was a little girl I have always dreamed of being my own boss and creating something for myself. As I got older the dream and passion only continued to grow deeper within me. When I became a first time mother back in 2020, I found myself struggling to remember who I was outside of being a mother. Like most new mothers I was struggling with feeling like myself again and what that looked like exactly. That’s where the idea of creating a beauty business came from. I wanted to create a brand that helped everyone feel beautiful within their own skin no matter what that may look like. I decided within this last year that It was time for a change and a new perspective on my business. I had so many new ideas in mind and a whole different vision for where I wanted my business to go. So I decided to rebrand completely as well as relaunch my business as DynaaBeauty in June of 2024. Since then my business has thrived and given me so many opportunities. DynaaBeauty has put me into rooms I would have never imagined being in. I thank God everyday for giving me not only the dream but the faith to keep pushing everyday no matter the circumstances.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
DynaaBeauty is my cosmetic beauty brand. We offer a range of cosmetic’s from lip glosses, lip oils, lashes, and many more new things coming soon. My brand was created off the idea of helping everyone feel beautiful within their own skin and creating products to help boost that confidence. It is based in Miami so many of my product names and ideas do come from the culture of Miami. I am super proud of how far my business has come since I first began it. It definitely has not been easy but my passion for my brand has always been bigger than any obstacle that was thrown my way. My dedication and the faith I had for my brand is what kept me going and never allowed me to give up so easily. I had a vision for my brand and it was bigger than what I could imagine, so I worked everyday to put in the time to bring this all to reality. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way has to be patience. If you truly love something and you have this burning desire within you, don’t ignore it. Put the work in and enjoy the process along the way as well. Make it all worth it in the end.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami has so many good spots to explore here! I’ll try my best to keep it simple!

Morning Start:
-Pura Vida
-Bistro Cafe
I feel like both spots have a great variety to offer brunch wise.

Lunch Time:
-Tacology (they have amazing birria tacos and margaritas)
– 1-800 Lucky (offers a great Asian food hall with so many options)
– Miami Slice (I am huge pizza fan)

Dinner:
– Giselle (has an amazing vibe and an incredible Lobster Fra Diavolo)
– Esotico
– El Tiesto Cafe (for the Vibes and Food!)
– Prime One Twelve (has an amazing Steak)

Activities;
– Helicopter Rides in Miami
– Perez Art Museum
– Surfside Beach
– City Bikes on the beach

Miami has so much to offer so there are so many more things and places to visit and enjoy.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d definitely have to give a shoutout to my daughter first. She really pushed me into the woman that I am today. Everything I’ve created has been because of her. She’s been my biggest motivation. My next shoutout would have to be to God. Although the circumstances weren’t always easy I don’t think I would have been able to continue forward if it wasn’t for my faith in God and trusting that he would always make a way.
