We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea & Camilo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea & Camilo, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
Teaching them entrepreneurship and resourcefulness; growing their faith by showing them what is truly required of oneself when the honest desire to be a real independent person bugs around our heads. It has showed them and taught them that perseverance will test you and your patience. Now, according to them, they’re inspired and willing to take a chance because they see it pays off to stay focused in visualizing an idea and forming into something tangible.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Food is our art. We love everything about it: seeing it, smelling it, savoring it, cooking it, tasting it. We love to eat, we really do! Everything we make has a story behind it, but the main idea of that story circles around our daughters Emma & Sofia, we have even named products after them since they “invented” them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wynwood and Ft. Lauderdale. Visit the local restaurants, obviously the beaches, go dancing. Visit the Everglades, go on a helicopter ride or airboat tour, mountain biking or horseback riding in Davie, Sunrise or Southwest Ranches, visit the farms in Cooper City and Homestead, eat their foods and do some berry picking, go shooting in a local range, watch the alligators and the sunset in the Greenway Levee near Coral Springs and cook for them.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God takes it all. He’s the guide and the source of everything! He’s always shown support through our family, especially our parents.
