We had the good fortune of connecting with Veronica Gobin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Veronica, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I’m inspired by beauty, art and unusual surroundings. I love nature and animals. The Tea Room is a representation of these elements within the surrounding gardens, habitual life and interior decor.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Im proud to be part of a group of individuals working to preserve one of the few historic places in Miami. To always be planning ahead – anticipating people changing needs business growth and unforeseen circumstances and overall changes in technology.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I always invite friends to Cauley Square. we’ll have lunch and tea at The Tea Room, take a walk around and shop afterwards. I would visit the Busddist Temple in the Redlands. Then I would take them to a museum or exhibition depending, PAMM or art walk followed by drinks, dinner at Mandolin.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Part of my success is due to my family who has helped during the difficult moments. Having them has helped me sustain and move forward in my business.
