Meet Gio Moros | Máster Hairdresser And Founder Gio Moros Miami Beauty Salon

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gio Moros and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gio, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is the emotional connection we create with our clients. Beyond delivering high-quality beauty services, we focus on making every woman who walks through our doors feel seen, heard, and truly glamorous. I believe success comes when you lead with passion, consistency, and a genuine desire to add value to people’s lives. Our clients don’t just come for a service — they come for an experience, and that’s what sets us apart.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is about transformation — not just physical, but emotional. I specialize in enhancing beauty in a way that empowers women to feel confident, radiant, and deeply connected to their femininity. What sets me apart is the emotional experience I create. I don’t just offer beauty services — I offer moments of self-love, luxury, and empowerment. Every client leaves not only looking more beautiful, but feeling more valued.
I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built, especially because I started from zero. Step by step, despite my insecurities and doubts about my own abilities, I created the life and career I once only dreamed of. That journey, with all its ups and downs, is what makes my story and my brand so meaningful to me.
Getting to where I am today has been far from easy. I moved to another country, started from scratch, and faced financial and emotional challenges that tested my limits. But my passion, discipline, and deep belief in my purpose kept me going. I also learned to surround myself with the right people and never stop growing — personally and professionally.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success is not just about talent or hard work. It’s about emotional resilience, consistency, and staying connected to your “why.”
What I want the world to know is that my brand was born from a desire to make women feel powerful, luxurious, and unapologetically beautiful. My story is one of perseverance, love, and the belief that beauty can be a transformational force.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I would make sure they experienced the full magic of Miami — a mix of luxury, culture, fun, and of course, beauty.
Day 1: We’d start with brunch at Swan in the Design District — the vibe is chic and the food is amazing. Then we’d stroll through the Miami Design District to shop, admire the art installations, and soak up the fashion-forward energy. Sunset cocktails at The Standard by the bay would be a must.
Day 2: Beach day! We’d head to South Beach, rent loungers at 1 Hotel’s Rooftop, and enjoy fresh seafood at Joe’s Stone Crab. Later, maybe some dancing at LIV or E11even, depending on the mood.
Day 3: A little culture — we’d visit Wynwood Walls, grab tacos at Coyo Taco, and sip on cocktails at Beaker & Gray. Then maybe a laid-back evening at Lagniappe, a hidden gem with live music and wine under the stars.
Day 4: A visit to my salon in Downtown, of course — to glam up and recharge. Then lunch at Zuma with views of the river, and maybe a relaxing boat day through Biscayne Bay to enjoy the skyline from the water.
Day 5: A trip to the Faena District, stopping at Casa Tua for a romantic dinner vibe. If they’re into wellness, we’d also do a spa day at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental on Brickell Key.
Day 6: We’d explore Little Havana for Cuban coffee, live music, and a dose of Miami’s heart. Dinner would be at Versailles, a classic. Then we’d finish the night with live Latin music at Ball & Chain.
Day 7: A peaceful end — sunrise yoga by the beach, followed by a quiet breakfast at Pura Vida. A moment to reflect, laugh, and plan the next trip back.
Miami is full of energy, diversity, and soul. Whether it’s the glamorous nightlife, the tropical nature, the art, or the people — there’s something here that always leaves you inspired.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Carlos has been by my side for the past 20 years, supporting me unconditionally and believing in every idea and project I’ve pursued. His support has been essential in helping me move forward and turn my dreams into reality. I also believe that my time at the multinational company L’Oréal played a major role in shaping me both professionally and personally. The experience gave me invaluable training and a deep understanding of the beauty industry. Without a doubt, working at L’Oréal broadened my vision and helped me build the foundation for what I do today.
