We had the good fortune of connecting with Vincent Hogan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vincent, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Honestly, the most important factor behind the success of The LXA is TRUST and how deeply we care. We never treat our work as just a job or our clients as just another booking. Whether we’re capturing a wedding, a corporate event, or brand content—we’re invested. We show up with heart, with intention, and with the mindset that these moments matter.

People can feel that. They see it in the images, they experience it in how we treat them, and I think that trust has been a cornerstone of our growth. Add in years of experience, an eye for detail, and an obsession with good storytelling—and that’s the foundation we’ve built everything on.

What should our readers know about your business?
Thank you—I love this question because my journey with The LXA has been anything but ordinary, and I’m proud of that. I’m Vincent Hogan, but most people call me Vinny. I’m the founder and Chief Extraordinary Artist at The League of Extraordinary Artists. At our core, we’re a creative studio that blends artistic vision with real human connection—whether we’re capturing a wedding, a corporate campaign, or helping a brand tell its story.

What sets us apart? It’s not just the gear or the quality of our visuals—it’s how deeply we care. We treat every client like family and every project like it truly matters. From intimate moments to high-profile productions, we bring the same level of energy, intention, and respect. That approach has helped us maintain 100% 5-star reviews and build a business rooted in trust and long-term relationships.

My path wasn’t linear. I studied business in school, but creativity was always in my blood. My father worked in the film industry for over 50 years and was the first to hand me a Minolta SLR camera when I was a kid. That single moment sparked everything.

The early days were scrappy—lots of learning on the go, juggling gear, figuring out how to price, pitch, deliver, and evolve. But the challenges taught me grit, adaptability, and the importance of staying grounded. One of the biggest lessons? Never stop listening. Whether it’s a couple planning a wedding or a brand building its voice, listening helps me tell their story in a way that’s real and impactful.

What I want the world to know is this: The LXA isn’t just a studio. We’re a team of artists, storytellers, and professionals who genuinely care. We’re here to bring your vision to life and give you an experience that feels personal, creative, and extraordinary—because you deserve nothing less.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, I love playing tour guide—especially here in Fort Lauderdale. I’ve grown up in this area and know it like the back of my hand, so if a best friend came to visit for the week, I’d make sure they experienced the perfect mix of chill, fun, and flavor.

We’d kick things off with a stroll down Las Olas Blvd—grabbing coffee, doing a little boutique hopping, and soaking in the local vibe before heading to the beach for some sun and ocean time. One day, we’d definitely book a fishing trip or go scuba diving—because if you’re in South Florida and not on the water, you’re missing out.

Food-wise, I’ve got a few must-hits: Sushi Rock for creative rolls and a fun vibe, Bombay Darbar for amazing Indian food, and Fogo de Chão for a solid steakhouse experience and one of the best happy hours around. For drinks, I’d take them to Funky Buddha Brewery for local craft beer, then over to Baires Grill for their signature ‘Mamacita’ cocktail—it never misses.

We’d catch a Florida Panthers game or whatever sport is in season—it’s such a fun energy, even if you’re not a die-hard fan. And one night, we’re definitely going country line dancing at Round Up, because that place is just pure fun.

The week wouldn’t be complete without finding a cool Airbnb with a pool to unwind and maybe fire up the grill. That’s the Fort Lauderdale experience I’d want to share—laid-back but full of character, just like the city itself.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely—so much of my journey is rooted in the support and inspiration I received early on. I have to give a heartfelt shoutout to my father. He worked in the film industry and was the first person to open the door to this world for me. When I was a kid, he let me borrow his Minolta SLR—and that moment pretty much changed everything. That camera became my first tool for expression, for curiosity, and eventually for storytelling.

His passion for film and his encouragement gave me the foundation to pursue this path with both creativity and intention. That small gesture—handing me that camera—set the wheels in motion for what would become my life’s work.

And beyond that, I’m grateful for the friends, mentors, and clients who’ve believed in me along the way. This career has always been about connection, and I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by people who’ve helped shape the vision behind The LXA.
