Meet Emanuele Liccardo | Men’s Hair Tailor & Image Consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emanuele Liccardo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Emanuele, why did you pursue a creative career?
From a very young age, I was drawn to the idea of transformation , not just how we look, but how we feel when we see ourselves fully aligned with who we are. I didn’t choose grooming as a career just to cut hair. I chose it because I was always curious behind the phycology of one specific affirmation that everybody whom usually wants to belong always claim “I’m different !”
So I start to find this pattern, more and more in people, but nobody wasn’t really doing much about it , if not keep following the trends, which we all know that trends are designed to keep you conformed to everything else instead be Yourself !
So I started to understand my own vision of tailoring identity shaping presence with intention, care, and personalization .
I pursued this path because I believe every man has a version of himself he hasn’t fully stepped into yet. And most grooming experiences don’t give him the space to access that. They rush. They generalize. Furthermore, they reduce grooming to a transaction.
Pure Man Care® was born as the opposite of that. It’s personal. Private. Intentional.
It’s for men who understand that time is their currency and that how they show up in the world matters. I create my motto which represents the my believe “You are Your own Business card” and once I help you to achieve that “You become as well My Business card “.
I work where they are home, office, hotel, wherever because the space, the energy, and the presence matters just as much as the cut. Every session begins with a one-on-one consultation, because it’s not only about a style it’s about the man, the structure of his face, the texture of his hair, the rhythm of his lifestyle and his needs.
So this isn’t just a creative career. It’s a calling. A way I bring refinement, respect, and presence into people’s lives one man at a time.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Like I shared earlier, I’ve always been fascinated by the relationship between identity and appearance, not in a superficial way, but in the way we carry ourselves when we feel aligned. That’s what pushed me to start Pure Man Care®.
What sets me apart is that I no longer see my work as grooming.
I see it as identity work.
I used to follow trends. I chased volume. I did what everyone else did, trying to fit in, trying to belong. But it never felt true.
Today, I work one-on-one with each client to shape something that speaks to them. The haircut is just the vessel. The transformation is internal.
It’s the same journey I took with myself, stepping away from the crowd, away from the noise, away from the need to be “cool” or “trendy,” and into something more honest.
Was it easy? No.
I come from nothing. I left my country. I lived in NYC, LA, and Miami. I rebuilt my life from scratch in each of those places with no network, no shortcuts, no hype machine behind me.
But it would’ve been harder not to act, to stay silent and blend in.
I knew I had a vision, a passion, and an eye for it.
I didn’t chase success, especially in Los Angeles, where it’s everywhere.
I followed purpose.
And that led me to the kind of people who were searching for something real.
There were years I questioned everything, financially, emotionally, spiritually.
But I’ve learned this:
You build something meaningful by staying close to your values, your ethics, your rhythm.
That’s the lesson.
Never dilute what makes you different to fit into a system that wasn’t built for you.
What I want people to know about me, and about Pure Man Care®, is that this isn’t about looking “good” or “trendy.”
It’s about showing up in the world as yourself, with presence and intention.
My motto says it best:
You are your own business card.
And I’m here to help men embody that. One appointment, one story, one transformation at a time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
After spending an entire week around people, I naturally gravitate toward quiet. I value peace, space, and being present. I’ve always been more connected to the atmosphere of a place than the attention it attracts.
So when someone close visits Miami, I don’t take them through the loudest parts of the city. I show them the version I live in sincere, calm, and grounded. A Miami made for depth, not distraction.
I enjoy simple places with character. Restaurants where the focus is on quality and warmth. When it comes to pizza, my go-to is La Leggenda in South Beach. It brings the spirit of Naples to life, beautifully. And when I’m in the mood for something from the north, I head to Cotoletta in Coral Gables for a true Milanese cutlet. It’s prepared with care and tradition.
Even when friends are in town, I keep the pace low and thoughtful. We might have a slow breakfast at Rosetta Bakery, take a quiet walk through a lesser-known neighborhood, or visit a small art space tucked away from the noise. And at least one full day is reserved for the ocean. Not for the scene, but for the stillness, the salt, and the reset it offers.
My daily life already exists alongside the louder face of Miami, the image-driven moments, the fast pace, the expectation to always perform. That’s why the world I’ve created around me offers the opposite. It’s about being intentional, staying private, and living fully in the moment.
This is the Miami I live in.
This is the Miami I love to share.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The book The Warrior of Light of Paulo Coelho.
Wonderful book which let me understand the importance of being yourself and helping others genuinely.
