Meet Katrina Kelley | Entrepreneur + Master Cigar Roller

We had the good fortune of connecting with Katrina Kelley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Katrina, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of Cigar Bella has been our dedication to creating elevated, unforgettable experiences through **live cigar rolling**. We’ve built our brand around the artistry and tradition of premium **cigar rolling**, bringing a unique, interactive element to events that people remember long after the last ash has fallen.
As a woman-owned business in a traditionally male-dominated space, we’ve carved out our niche by offering highly skilled **cigar rollers for parties**, **weddings**, and corporate events. Whether it’s a **master cigar roller** showcasing decades of craftsmanship or a personalized **live cigar roller** experience at an upscale celebration, we prioritize quality, professionalism, and education.
Our clients trust us because we’re not just offering a novelty—we’re curating luxury with intention. That’s what sets Cigar Bella apart, and it’s why our brand continues to thrive in the world of **cigar rolling events**.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Cigar Bella is a woman-owned luxury cigar experience company specializing in **live cigar rolling** for events. We provide highly trained **cigar rollers for weddings**, corporate functions, private parties, and upscale celebrations—bringing tradition, craftsmanship, and ambiance together in a way that’s both interactive and refined.
What sets us apart is our attention to detail and the intention behind every event. We’re not just sending out a **live cigar roller**—we’re curating a full experience that feels elegant, welcoming, and unforgettable. Our **master cigar rollers** are artists in their own right, offering education, craftsmanship, and cultural appreciation with every hand-rolled cigar.
The journey to get here wasn’t easy. As a woman stepping into a male-dominated industry, I was met with doubt, skepticism, and the occasional flat-out dismissal. But I leaned into what made us different: authenticity, exceptional service, and a fresh, elevated take on **cigar rolling events**. I learned to trust my voice, value my vision, and surround myself with people who bring integrity and skill to the table.
I’m most proud of how far we’ve come—from a bold idea to a thriving brand known for delivering unmatched cigar experiences. And I’m excited for what’s ahead: expanding our presence, working with more event planners, and continuing to break barriers in this space.
What I want the world to know is this: Cigar Bella is about more than cigars. It’s about celebration, connection, and honoring tradition in a modern, luxurious way. We’re redefining what it means to hire a **cigar roller for parties**—and we’re just getting started.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami, I’d plan a week that hits every note—beach, art, food, wellness, and unforgettable vibes. Miami is such a dynamic, layered city, and I love showing people the version of it that blends soul, luxury, and local flavor.
**Day 1: Beach + Sunset Drinks**
We’d start with an easy day—brunch at **Under the Mango Tree** in South Beach (their açaí bowls are my fave), followed by a few relaxed hours at **South Pointe Park** for sun and sea with a view. Sunset cocktails at **The Standard Spa’s Lido Bayside Grill**—it’s peaceful, right on the water, and feels like a secret escape.
**Day 2: Wynwood Walls + Artsy Cafés**
We’d head to **Wynwood** and walk through the **Wynwood Walls** and local galleries. Lunch at **Miam Café**, then explore some of the hidden gems like **Panther Coffee** for a great cold brew. In the evening, we’d grab tapas at **Boia De** (it’s unassuming but wildly good) and maybe pop into a local speakeasy like **Gramps** or **Dante’s HiFi** for great music and vibes.
**Day 3: Yoga + Little Havana**
Morning **yoga at SOL YOGA** in Wynwood—it’s beautiful, modern, and uplifting. Then we’d explore **Little Havana**—lunch at **Sanguich de Miami**, and of course, a visit to **Domino Park** and **Calle Ocho** for some local culture and maybe even a quick cigar moment for fun. Evening mojitos at **Ball & Chain** with live music? Absolutely.
**Day 4: Art + Upscale Dinner**
Visit **Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)** and **The Bass** for a refined dose of contemporary art. We’d grab lunch by the water at **Verde** (inside PAMM), then unwind with a bit of shopping at **Design District**. Dinner at **Mandolin Aegean Bistro**—the ambiance is magic. Maybe finish the night at **LIV** if we’re feeling glam and energetic.
**Day 5: Spa + Slow Day**
We’d treat ourselves to a spa day at **The Faena** or **Carillon Wellness Resort**—their spa circuits are next-level. Grab lunch at **Pura Vida** (casual, healthy, fresh), then maybe just a relaxed evening walking along the beach or catching a movie at **O Cinema** in South Beach.
**Day 6: Brunch + Boating**
Brunch at **Greenstreet Café** in Coconut Grove (a classic!), then rent a boat or join a small yacht group for a bay cruise. Think champagne, good music, and the Miami skyline at golden hour. Dinner at **Seaspice** to keep the coastal vibes flowing.
**Day 7: Chill + Departure**
A slow final morning—maybe yoga or a beach walk, breakfast at **Café Bastille**, and a last stroll down **Lincoln Road** or around **Vizcaya Gardens** if there’s time. A soft, beautiful close to a Miami dream week.
This city’s full of energy and soul, and when you know where to go, it’s magic. I love experiences that feel intentional but relaxed—just like a perfect **Cigar Bella** event, really.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely—success is never a solo journey, and I’ve been incredibly blessed with support along the way. First and foremost, I have to shout out my family and close friends who believed in me even when this path felt uncertain. Launching a luxury brand in **live cigar rolling** as a woman wasn’t always easy, but their encouragement kept me focused and grounded.
I also want to recognize the incredibly talented **cigar rollers** who bring our vision to life at events. Their dedication, passion, and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do. They’re not just part of the business—they’re part of the story.
Lastly, I owe a lot to the community of fellow small business owners and creatives in Austin who lead with collaboration over competition also my mom Dr. Ashley Kelley who owns a medical practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. Whether it’s through partnerships, referrals, or just showing up for one another, that sense of community has made a huge difference.
So while Cigar Bella may have started as my dream, it’s been built on the shoulders of many—and I’m deeply grateful for every single person who’s helped shape our journey.
