We had the good fortune of connecting with Susan Montoya Blandon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Susan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting my own business was deeply connected to my purpose. For years, I worked on projects I was passionate about, but I felt there was a part of me that wanted to create something with its own identity—something with real human impact.

I asked myself: What would happen if I combined my experience, intuition, and commitment to service to build something that transforms lives and creates lasting value?

It wasn’t an impulsive decision, but a natural evolution. I analyzed what the market needed, what I could offer, and—most importantly—how I wanted to live my life: with freedom, with impact, and with the joy of seeing something grow from the heart. Entrepreneurship hasn’t been easy, but it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business was born from a desire to create transformative experiences through purpose-driven events. I’ve spent the last 12 years doing exactly that: connecting people, brands, and ideas through memorable events that leave a lasting impact—especially within the Hispanic community in the United States. What sets us apart is not just our experience or track record, but the way we serve. We lead with heart, understanding that every detail matters and that the real value lies in how we make people feel.

What makes me most proud is having built a solid, human, and resilient company that has grown thanks to the trust of our clients and the loyalty of a committed staff and team that has walked this journey with me every step of the way. Without them, none of this would be possible.

Getting here hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced both personal and professional challenges, but each one has made me stronger. I’ve learned to make bold decisions, to adapt quickly, and to invest in my growth and leadership in order to guide others with integrity.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that success isn’t a destination—it’s something we build every day with discipline, vision, and purpose. I want the world to know that behind every achievement, there’s a story of effort, collaboration, setbacks, and growth. And that when you work from the heart and serve with excellence, anything is possible.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There have been many people who have played a key role in my journey, but if I had to choose, I’d first like to dedicate this shoutout to my family—especially my mother, whose resilience and unconditional love taught me the true meaning of strength and purpose.

Second, to my husband, who has been my unwavering companion, a constant source of support, and a silent witness to every step I’ve taken. His belief in me has been an invaluable force behind my motivation.

I also want to acknowledge every mentor and coach I’ve invested in over the years. Choosing to invest in my personal and professional growth has been one of the most powerful decisions I’ve made, and each of them has helped prepare me for success with purpose and clarity.

Special thanks to my team and the amazing community that surrounds our projects—your trust and shared vision keep me inspired every day.

And finally, to the books that shifted my mindset and shaped my path:
“Many Lives, Many Masters” by Brian Weiss,
“The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne,
“Atomic Habits” by James Clear,
and “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz.
Each one left a deep mark on my personal and professional evolution.

Thank you all for helping shape the woman and entrepreneur I am today.
