We had the good fortune of connecting with Neha Saraiya and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Neha, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I have always believed that if I am the smartest person in the room, it’s time to change rooms! And I have changed rooms, places, and jobs when they no longer aligned with where I was in life. My path has been anything but linear: from publishing to talent management, project management, and now launching my first CPG brand.

That’s all thanks to my appetite for risk. I’ve never been afraid to take a leap of faith and figure things out along the way. Every role, every change taught me something new, whether it was a skill, a connection, or a fresh perspective.

My time in publishing sharpened my writing, helping me craft precise job descriptions and CVs which was a great skill to have as a head hunter. Later, when I worked as a senior recruiter at an executive search firm, I gained a deep understanding of IT ecosystems and businesses, an experience that shaped my transition into project management.

Risk-taking has been the best thing I’ve done! It’s shaped who I am today!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey to launching my personal care brand began from a genuine personal need. When I couldn’t find the exact product I wanted online, I decided to create it myself. Earlier, big corporations dictated our choices through celebrities; now, we consumers see a gap, and we fill it ourselves! Initially, I was set on Ayurveda-inspired baby care products, but listening closely to data, I made a strategic pivot. Now, instead of juggling an umbrella of products, I’m laser-focused on launching one carefully-crafted product. And the biggest learning has been that confidence grows with clarity! You don’t have to know it all, you just have to start and learn along the way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would kick off the day with breakfast and sandwiches at Caracas Bakery. Their breakfast sandwich is such a great start. Then I would stroll through the Design District to soak in that chic, upscale Miami vibe.

For lunch, I would head to Española Way at South Beach and enjoy a meal while soaking up the sun. In the evening, I would grab a strong Cuban coffee at La Colada in Little Havana because you can’t visit Miami without one! I would wrap up the day with a sexy dinner at Sexy Fish in Brickell.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m so glad you asked this! There have been so many people and influences that have shaped my journey.

First, I have to give a huge shoutout to my family. Their constant support, encouragement, and belief in me have kept me grounded and motivated through every high and low.

I also draw so much inspiration from people who’ve worked hard to achieve their dreams. I try to live by their teachings every day. For example, I start my mornings following the principles from Hal Elrod’s The Miracle Morning. When I think about business and growth, I often reflect on the mindset behind Andrew Wilkinson’s a self made billionaire and the writer of Never Enough. And when it comes to ideas, transactions, or even product feedback, I always think about The Mom Test by Rob Fitzpatrick. It’s been invaluable.

All of these influences have helped shape how I show up, dream, and build!
