We had the good fortune of connecting with Sedrix Davis Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sedrix, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
I want to own A Fitness Gym and I Want To Win My Pro Card As A Natural Body Builder. The end Goal is to motivate and inspire people all over the world.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe my resilience is what sets me apart. My drive to never give up no matter how heavy or how crazy life can get. I’ve worked day in and day out to build my business and my brand to inspire not only myself but others around the world. Endurance is for every walk of life because we all have to endure life in different ways. Endurance means the ability to withstand adversity so that means no matter what life throws at you, you have to stand firm. Life hasn’t been easy for me , life of an underdog I like to call it. Always over looked but never out worked I pride myself on hard work and discipline because when talent fails hard work doesn’t.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend was visiting for a week, I’d show them the perfect mix of good food, relaxation, and local vibes. We’d start with Casa Sensei for dinner and drinks by the water. During the days, we’d hang out at the beach, stop at Larry’s for ice cream. I’d book a massage midweek to recover. For nightlife, we’d hit Hardrock casino. I’d also bring them to the gym one morning to experience my routine before brunch at Keke’s. It’s all about great food, beautiful scenery, and balancing energy with relaxation.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost God I wouldn’t be anywhere without him. My parents and brothers there my glue. My beautiful supportive wife , and my right hand man Matt. I appreciate the village that God blessed me with. Shoutout to everyone who has helped and supported along the way.
