We had the good fortune of connecting with Flortcha Flow and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Flortcha, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Consistency and planning has been two factors in helping me push forward in my music. Being creative takes courage and it doesn’t always come with the instant gratification that most artist crave. Consistency is the way I honor my art and my craft. Planning is the way that I manage my time in order to make consistency possible.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m extremely proud of the progress that I’ve made in my music and growing my fan base despite also working in the frontline as a nurse during the pandemic of 2020. It was certainly a process to juggle both fields. However, I overcame the challenges through researching how to properly market myself and also all the positive feedback from my new fans.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wynnwood would definitely be a place that I would take my bestfriend. I’ve had the pleasure of performing there so I can personally speak on the live music scene. There is a lot of local vendors and businesses that makes it appealing and diverse. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A huge part of being successful as an artist is collaborating with other artist that share your vision. Nigel Howard of IWorkMagicDaily has been consistently involved in the visuals that I produce in my work. I also work with other artist collective such as Ciiity & The Uproar project that often provide their platform to share my music.
