We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Jeune and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vanessa, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Once i started taking pictures and training in photography, one of my friends hooked me up with some people that have seen my photos and wanted me to take photos for their events and I eventually got paid for it. I didn’t do it for the pay but once i realize that i was getting booked to do photoshoots left and right i decided to make it into a business called The Perfect Capture
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I honestly wouldn’t be here without the help of many people. I never seen myself doing photography at all, i thought people just did it because they make a lot of money out of it. This road wasn’t as easy as i thought it would be because there is so much to learn about photography and it is much more than meets the eye.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely go to Haiti. That is one of my favorite places to just be one and free within myself. The one time i’ve been there i honestly didn’t want to leave because of the beauty of the place
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely have to give credit to John Hamilton the person that got me into photography and trained me very well! Also a big shoutout to Branden Dominique, my Co-Owner of my business The Perfect Capture.
