We had the good fortune of connecting with Nirva Tervil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nirva, why did you pursue a creative career?
I choose to purse an artistic or creative career because as a child I’ve always been very passionate about the arts, from dancing, drawing, painting, and designing. I never knew that designing would be something I end up doing permanently, but I’m glad I did, because I love my job. Designing not only brings me happiness but also my clients; knowing that my passion and gift is helping someone’s vision and dream come true, is the best feeling.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I would love to say what sets me apart from others, and makes me the most proud has to be my details, Before I always thought that being extra, having glitter, and sparkles made my work great until I had to learn simple is best, and I always try to stay on that guideline every time. So, my simplicity and neatness would be what sets me apart. Getting to where I am today professionally was not easy it took a lot of hardworking, motivation, and practice. Practice really does make perfect. Even though I do feel I have a lot more to learn I’m proud of where I am today. One, thing that really helped me overcome the challenges is seeing how many people support me and just love my work, I get people everyday like “Can you just teach me your skills”, and I’m happy but I try my best to stay humble because I know how hard it was to get to this position after 3 years of practice. I’ve learn many lessons as well, how to speak with other, to now being a people person. I was never the type to speak to random people but now I do it everyday, and love it. Some clients can be challenging, but I’ve learn how to work around it and that has help so much. Overall, I would want the world to know that Exotic Creations GFX is here to help business owners to reach their dream and highest potential, I love taking the time out to help others that has always been my goal and passion.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I were to take my friends out to show them the best time ever I would take them to Extreme Action Park because it’s just so much you could do there, I especially love the skating part even though I can’t skate for anything, but falling would be hilarious. Miami has many interesting places like the beach, Water rapids, and Urban Air Trampoline Park is a must, it just brings out your inner kid.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Being a Graphic Designer & Brand Stylist takes a lot of hard work, and patience, and sometimes there are rough days but as far as my current success I would have to shoutout first in foremost God. I am a religious and spiritual person and just praying and building a connection with God has help my brand overall thrive. My second shoutout would have to be my eldest brother Natson Thervil. He is a professional photographer and just seeing him and how far he has come drives me to keep going no matter how hard my day gets at work, and he’s always giving me business as well as legal advice on ways to better my brand. I would also like to shoutout my older sister Nadia Tervil & boyfriend Isaiah Lubin, they always listen to all my ideas, plans, future goals, and always remind me that in order to reach that limit I have to work hard and keep going no matter how many challenges get thrown my way. My sister Nadia especially always help with helping me finish some big projects and getting them out by the deadline as well as shipping products, even though I can be a bit bossy to her.
