Meet Don and Chaz Major | Inspirational rap artists

We had the good fortune of connecting with Don and Chaz Major and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Don and Chaz, what do you want people to remember about you?
We would like people to always remember that we are young aspiring positive young men who enjoy uplifting and inspiring people and especially our peers. We want our music to impact people and we always set positive standards.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are inspirational rap artist Don(3D) and Chaz (c4) aka Chosen Soldiers, We started rapping at the ages of 4 and 8 years old. We are now 11 and 15 and have two cds out and videos currently on youtube. Our first cd has three songs and is called ” Royal Life” and our 2nd Cd is a full album Cd called “Giving it Back”. As we seek to give back all our gifts and talents to our creator. We started rapping to uplift and inspire our generation through positive music. Our music is inspirational but has upbeat tunes that are fun, exciting but delivers a strong message. We have performed in many different arenas, including churches, festivals, concerts, school programs throughout Florida and Nassau, Bahamas. We just won two international music awards from the Rhythm of Gospel awards which was held November in Alabama. We won International Gospel artist of the year and Contemporary R&P CD of the year. We was very grateful for the opportunity to have won these awards. We were nominated in 7 categories and we won two. That was awesome!! We are very motivated to get the message across to everyone especially to kids and teens in our society to provide positive music to vibe to. We have experienced challenges even as we are so young but we have overcome and will continue to overcome by remaining positive and trusting God. As we are teens its so much peer pressure out there in the world , we have to stand strong. So many of our peers go through alot but with our music we want to encourage them. It seems sometimes that all the negative stuff gets publicity, and all the attention but what about those who are indeed trying to make a difference in society and be diiferent. We currently have a single out on YouTube called “Different and Cool”, its basically saying that its nothing wrong with being different in your own way.   We see ourselves as different in our own individual way and we possess different qualities, which indeed makes us cool. Cool, as we are easy going, motivated young men who are not ashamed to encourage people and set positive examples for our peers. We have learned so many lessons on our path from 4 and 8years old till now. We have seen how we have changed physically , emotionally and musically We would like to take Chosen Soldiers to the world and have people to enjoy and be blessed by our music we have worked so hard and most all the songs on our album Giving it Back was written by us and our father.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well if our best friend was coming we would indeed take them to Miami Beach and of course eat at some great restaurants. Our favorite food is sushi. Then because we are young teen boys we love video games and technology so we would visit a exciting arcade and game room. Also we will get some swimming in on the beach, and just do a nice tour of Miami its so exciting and so much to do!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to shoutout our mom and dad for their continued support and dedication to our music. Our entire family, our church family, special friends and our fans.
