We had the good fortune of connecting with Mitra Javadi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mitra, how does your business help the community?
We bring people together from all over the world, since we have such a global community, different backgrounds, diversity you will always meet a new friend, opportunity, business partner etc. For example I met the Nutrafol team who helped me with my alopecia through a mutual friend that attended one of our events. This also gives us the opportunity to lift important messages and campaigns to make an impact or create a change, without going too deep into it. Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In the business field I’m in I think you have to be a little wild and fearless to succeed, I used to be very hard on myself and had to learn pretty quickly of how to evolve, be open and not hold on to things because that would hold me back. I’ve been lucky to have a great support system around me, which have made it possible for me to step out of my comfort zone and not look back. Every mistake have always lead to something bigger and better. Also the people you surround you with is everything! I have always received fuel to my power and ideas from my surroundings, which made me fearless. Where a no is a no for someone, a no is find other ways/angels for me. If you really want something, go and get it!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow there is so many good spots in Miami, hard to choose. For breakfast I would definitely go to my favorite spot Pura Vida, I also love Mrs Mandolin, their gluten free banana bread is to die for! Dreamer Miami have really good smoothie bowls For lunch I always take my friends to Mandolin, not only is the food amazing but the environment and everyone who works there as well! Coyo Taco is also a pit stop favorite to have on the go. If we want it more upscale we would go for lunch at Makoto in Bal Harbour, their food is on another level, can’t even explain, it has to be experienced! Dinner, it’s so hard there is so many good sports/ I love KYU, their drinks and food is heaven. Swan is always a vibe! Milos is my all time favorite, the one in Miami is the best. El Matador Room is also a go to! We would also spend a afternoon at Joia Beach, eat donuts at The Salty Donut and go to the Rubell Museum! Or my favorite Vizcaya, makes you feel like you’re in Italy!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to my right hand Rebecca Brunnhagen, we met at one of Curated Saga’s events. She quickly joined our team and we have pretty much been inseparable since. You know when you meet someone that understands the vision and execute it better than yourself, that’s her right there. We usually joke about that she has a special power to read minds, that’s how well she knows the business. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!
