We had the good fortune of connecting with Takiyah Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Takiyah, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My business helps the community or world because my designs can give brands the professional facelift they need. By designing minimal yet creative and effective designs, it allows for my customers brands to stand out and boost their sales and engagements. Alongside my effective and exceptional designs, I often give out much needed business tips when it comes to branding and marketing! I like to guide my customers in the correct direction and let them know the do’s and don’ts of business. To date, I have seen my designs on products, billboards, custom chains (believe it or not), floors of boutique, store signs, and so much more! Because my clients are happy and confident with their branding, their customers are as well!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
K’s Kreative Designs is a graphic design company specializing in designing branding and marketing materials such as logos, websites, business cards, flyers, branding identity suites, and much more! As a company, I am most proud of the many bumps and bruises that I’ve overcome and the growth and expansion of K’s Kreative. Here at K’s, what sets me apart from other design companies are the steps I take to ensure my customers receive quality designs and professional advice that I give so that when they leave K’s, they will have not only top-notch branding materials but also some knowledge about the business world. Every business has its struggles even the most successful ones so I have to say, of course it have not been easy! Some of my struggles were learning how to deal with customers, time management, and making sure I do not have a mental burn out! As days have gone by, I’ve learned to manage my struggles better than before by ensuring I do not overbook myself for the month, take breaks, eat, and map out my orders ahead of time.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love hanging out and showing people and myself a good time. If my best friend were to come in town, I’d definitely take her to the beach. The beach is my favorite spot and you can walk the board walk, shop at the stores, and grab a drink /food. Wynwood is also a great spot to hang out at and check out the arts. I would also take her to different things like horseback riding, jet skiing, yacht/boat parties, skating, bowling, you name it. The sky is the limit. I love love seafood, and my favorite restaurant is definitely Submarine Crab in Pembroke Pines, FL so best friend and I would definitely have to eat there!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first like to give a great Shoutout to God because without him none of this would be possible, I wouldn’t even have the skills that I have now without him! Secondly, I would like to Shoutout my family and loved ones for being so supportive of me and helping me through this entrepreneurial journey because it has not been easy. Lastly, I would like to Shoutout all of my customers and supporters who have allowed me to design their brands, and for keeping me going in my business.
