We had the good fortune of connecting with Mabel Cordero and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mabel, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Some folks prefer to avoid taking risks; nevertheless, those who are willing to take chances already have a competitive advantage. With new ideas, fresh offers, and bold creations, you’ll be setting the pace and leading from the front. I would not have known what it was like to take a leap of faith if I hadn’t taken the risk of trying out for the Dolphins Cheerleaders and making it. Making connections is essential for success since one door leads to another. I would not have launched my own business and become a successful Realtor in south Florida today if it hadn’t been for leaving a 9 to 5 job that provided a safety net.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a realtor for South Florida! I specialize in Palmetto bay and Pinecrest. It’s not only where I work but where I live! I love this community and the people who live here. I enjoy working with clients and helping them find there dream home!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The first day, I’d take them to Alaines Osteria, my favorite Italian restaurant, for a glass of Caymus wine.
On the boat, the next day’s destination would be Key Largo. The Curio collection by Hilton is where we’d stay.
Then we’d unwind with margaritas by the water for a few of days before finishing our day at the Lazy Lobster.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to express my gratitude to my spouse, sister, and parents for always encouraging and supporting me in my decisions. A special thanks to my son for telling me not to give up since “Corderos never quit!”
