We had the good fortune of connecting with Quadeera Teart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Quadeera, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor to my success has been collaborating with other female entrepreneurs and women in business. Collaboration multiplies awareness and expands reach more than I ever could alone.

It’s also refreshing to collaborate on events, programs and projects with partners who understand my drive, boundaries and lifestyle; who understands that more than another female entrepreneur or woman in business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the proud CEO of ManifestHer Media & Marketing, LLC., a creative space for female entrepreneurs and women in business to create, grow and manifest. We provide women the opportunity to collaborate for more visibility, profitability and scalability.

I built this business around the idea of collaborating. Entrepreneurship can be hard, but after a decade of business and entrepreneurship I know that there’s power in numbers. The more women in business come together, the more creative, innovative and progressive we become in our thinking, doing and profiting.

It has not been easy to get to this space. I’ve gone through a couple of different businesses and tried tons of ideas. I’ve had the same challenges we hear from most women and moms of color in business…childcare, access to capital, resources, network, etc., but the hardest thing about being in business has been tackling imposter syndrome. The more I control my thoughts, the more freedom I give myself to go for the gold.

I’ve learned that caring for myself is my #1 priority. When I do not care for myself and make time for fun, I contract and restrict my creativity and fall into a thought pattern of limiting beliefs. Limiting beliefs and entrepreneurship do not go together. When you operate a business from a space of limitation, your actions become limited and so does your revenue and profit potential.

As a woman and as the CEO of ManifestHer Media, I am committed to helping women in business unlock the chains and limitations seen as the realities of business, by helping us upgrade our beliefs to cultivate rich environments of growth, visibility and profits.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Sunday Brunch in Midtown Miami at MAU Monday shopping at Brickell City Center and dinner at Blackbird
Tuesday, we’d drive up to the Downtown Arts District of Lake Worth Beach and visit one of the only Black owned book stores, wine bar and art gallery in South Florida called Sugar Plum & the Grumbling Growler for Tuesday night trivia
Wednesday and Thursday we’ll chill indoors, invite over friends and take out
Friday: Historic Overtown, Lyric Theater, The Urban, Red Rooster
Saturday by the Sea North Beach and Miami Seaquarium

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my first shoutout to my life and business partner Peter, who I often refer to as Babe in articles and on social media. I want to acknowledge him for giving me the time and space to create and test out new things as an entrepreneur and creative. He never stops supporting me, even in times of challenge and struggle.

I also want to shoutout one of my coaches and bff’s, Steph Stanford. She has been a sounding board in the morning, afternoon and evening. She has encouraged me when I’ve felt like giving up, been there for all of my wins and losses, but most affectionately, she’s always at my side, front and back, reminding me that I am the bees knees.
