We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan Galane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Megan, how do you think about risk?
Talking about risks is such a sensitive subject, because everyone has such a different background. Recently, I have actually sat with my accountant and he told me about my money story. In my money story, he made it clear that I take very little to moderate risk with investments, but I will take high risk on anything regarding myself and my business.

Why will I always bet on myself? Because I know I will figure out a way to make it happen.

I have moved multiple times by myself and away from friends and family just to expand my vision of the world and really form my own opinions. One of my favorite lessons, is that we will only risk what our environment will accept. If you have friends and/or family that do not see your vision or think you are “weird” then it is a forever uphill battle for your goals, dreams and visions. With each move you have the chance to recreate your life without hurting anyone’s feelings or doing that hot topic of “cutting people off.”

You have the opportunity to always go back and settle back into your same life, but what happens if you like who you are without those people around everyday? What happens if you bet on yourself and do what you want to do?

I found that loving those people from afar has made me appreciate their version and questions, instead of fighting them. I have also found people who are aligned with my goals, dreams, and visions. These people made this seem more like a really fun journey as opposed to an uphill battle.

This is by far one of my favorite risks I have taken that has paid off tremendously!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Since 2016, I have been learning everything to do with marketing online, building an audience, seminars/webinars, and networking in the finance industry. As an employee, I took it upon myself to learn how to solve the problems we were having with tech solutions. I worked my way from Director of Business Development at Mountain West IRA to Chief Visionary Officer, where it was my job to make sure we had the most efficient systems possible for the growth of the company.

I finished our largest project in 2020 and realized, that was what I really loved doing, everything systems.

January 2021, I had to make a decision – that was to go full force into systems or focus on my career in the finance industry. I realized that although I had the career for 7 years, I really enjoyed doing systems and growing companies on the backend.

That has been one of my hardest decisions to date, because I really enjoy both sides, however my heart was in systems so I decided to make the jump to build systems full-time for agencies and coaches on the online space! I take on every business as it is my own responsibility to save the business owner from burnout, stress and overwhelm because I have reached those feelings and sometimes that damage is irreversible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am the party goer, not normally the party thrower! Some of my favorite spots are where there is a lot happening, but very easy to connect on a personal level. Brunch at KOMODO is one of my favorite places to get dressed, hang out, and still have a fun party that isn’t a club!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Innovative Income Summit, this was an event my best friend and I started back in 2018 and we have stayed consistent with it to now the community holds us accountable in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

We have found that a community of driven women keeps us all pushing, motivated, and excited to hit goals!
