We had the good fortune of connecting with Alejandra Stier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alejandra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought behind starting my own business is being happy and healthy with my work every day and to share it with other people.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art expresses directly emotions and sensations. Y use colors and forms .I play with different materials and i can show by my art how we can all create different atmospheres and share the spaces and moments in a nice way. I am proud of having written a book and also by sharing very energetic shows of art.
It hasnt been easy at all but i never give up. I looked at the challenges as experiences.
The lessons i learned along the way is to paint every day and see what happens.Sometimes it has been a cool surprise. I try always to use very good materials because we dont know when the great piece of art appears.
I want to share with the world that art is a meditation and can save lots of lives. It is a form of wellbeing.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a friend visits me i would take her to walk by my neibourhood. I like nature and love being with friends. Also sharing restaurants and the Museums we have of Modern Art and Latin American Art. We also join groups to visit some exhibitions and galleries.Another way of enjoying our city is by the music in different ways is a very positive visit and i enjoy it a lot.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My beloved daughter is whom looks and shares the moments in which i paint and draw. Also my family and art group and friends that supports all the art events .
