We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadine Tanis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nadine, how does your business help the community?
So-called Person-Centered Approach gives each client an opportunity to reach his/her individual goals.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our client base is broad; we cater to parents seeking caregivers for their children and children wanting their parents to have a caregiver that will help them regain or keep their independence and become self-sufficient. Due to our service’s sensitivity and level of importance, our caregivers are well-trained, caring, and compassionate; they take pride and enjoy working with our clients. Also, we carefully match our client with a caregiver who meet their requirements. We pay special attention to caregivers working with youngsters and young adults since these clients sometimes may be unable to express themselves. Our caregivers ensure all our clients enjoy an active lifestyle considering their physical abilities and limitation, one of the many advantages of living in South Florida. They help clients find activities of interest from working out, swimming, talking walks in their community, singing, conversing, relaxing, etc. Also, they help them become independent and keep their independence. We encourage our clients to set goals and help them reach these personal goals–these goals vary from making sure to learn to keep their room tidy to learning to organize their daily activities, learning to make a simple meal, and more.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
No place like South Florida is home to many natural wonders and cultural attractions in addition to a vibrant, avant-garde nightlife. And since most visitors already have in mind the places they would like to visit before coming to our state, I would set up an itinerary taking their wish list into consideration first and including some key landmarks if they are missing–The Everglades, The Vizcaya, Wynwood, etc…No one should spend time in South Florida and not explore the international cuisine-Caribbean, Asian, South and Central America, etc..
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
GSA Home Care LLC allows me to assist families and individuals by providing them the support they need for themselves or a relative at the moment in life when it matters the most. I understand our clients because a few years ago, I had to find care for my parents. When my parent’s’ health started deteriorating, my siblings and I panicked. My parents represented and were the pillars of our family. However, as they got older, life started to unveil their vulnerability, our challenge became to get them the aid they needed to age gracefully in the comfort of their home for as long as possible. As a manager at GSA Home Care LLC, I promote and foster our clients’ highest level of well-being.
Communication is vital in human relations. At GSA, we encourage open communication between caregivers, clients, and staff. This culture resulted in a work environment that promotes personal and professional growth for our staff and clients. GSA takes pride in servicing the members of our community. And we aim to become the go-to home health care agency in the Broward and Palm Beach area. To reach our goal, we hire and train caring and competent professionals, and they provide our clients all the care and attention they need to lead quality and enjoyable lives.
