We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Bottiglia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Believing in myself and not stopping until I get to where I want. Deciding to start a business and work against the normal “9 to 5” mentality is hard. Everyone around you is wondering why you’re doing it but you have a dream and a vision you just have to go for it. Having confidence in yourself, your business and your brand is a major key in success. Be your own biggest fan, talk about your vision with everyone, and don’t be afraid to sell. People are attracted to energy and if yours is inpsiring, they will support you.

What should our readers know about your business?
I run an online Pilates studio where members can do any class, at anytime, anywhere. I have over 75 classes ranging from 5 to 35 minutes that will tone and sculpt the entire body. Pilates is gaining traction for all the right reasons. We don’t need to exhaust ourselves with hours of exercise to get the body we want. Low-impact movement is safe on the body, tones your muscles, reduces your stress, and grounds you.

What sets me apart is my passion and personality. I truly believe in the gift of Pilates and deep down I truly want all my members to succeed and fall in love with the movement. I have spent years killing my body to get it to look a certain way and all that led to was burnout. With pilates, it’s different. It’s showing your body love in a whole new and positive way.

Starting a business was exciting for me at the beginning, branding and creativity are something I thrive at. I was lucky that I got traction right away because of working in the fitness industry. However, there are days when you’re not growing as much as you want and you have to remember to be patient. I learned to always stay positive and stay moving forward. If you believe in your business and dream hard enough, it’ll happen for you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love doing a morning walk at the beach with my dog. Maybe hit up the dog beach to let him play. Then I would walk the downtown area and grab lunch or a coffee and an aesthetic cafe. I would end the day with a long walk by the River.

I lost my mother when I was 12 so I would say her. I have this confidence in myself that I would assume has been around since my childhood.
