We had the good fortune of connecting with Cole Nichter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cole, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is an essential aspect of life that can lead to both positive and negative outcomes. It involves uncertainty and the possibility of loss or gain. Taking risks can be intimidating, but it can also be the key to growth, success, and personal development. In my experience, taking risks at a young age is the best thing one can do. Young people have fewer responsibilities and obligations, fewer assets to loose, and more time to recover from setbacks. Also, young people tend to have a higher appetite for risk, which can be a valuable asset in entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity.
Moreover, the risks taken at a young age can provide valuable learning experiences that can shape one’s life and career path. It allows one to learn from failures, develop resilience, and gain confidence in their abilities. It can also provide the opportunity to explore different paths, discover new interests, and acquire diverse skills.
Risk in my life has brought nothing but rewards now, but that is not always the case. Every loss is a lesson and taking the path less traveled sometimes can be your answer. What keeps me going everyday is my sphere of influence. I know there is someone like a friend, family member, etc. that is working harder than me and I never want to be outworked. I wan’t my family, my friends, everyone to compete to be the best version of themselves.
What should our readers know about your business?
My name is Cole Nichter, I am a business owner and entrepreneur. I own 3 companies; Real Estate Agent (Closebycole.com), Brotherhood Finance LLC, and Five X Co-Host (AIRBNB/VRBO) Company all over the state of FL. What sets me apart from everyone else is my persistence, dedication to the task at hand, and my easy going personality. The process to where I am today comes from a lot of hard work… Just kidding its a lot more than that. Its waking up early and staying up late, not caring what my friends/family thinks, waking up and telling yourself you’re a boss. Do that and educate yourself I guarantee success will follow. The most important thing I want people to know about myself is I make deals happen. Weather you want to sell your business, Sell or buy real estate, Short term rentals, or even learn more about investing and entrepreneurship Know that my team and I have it covered to give our customers/clients the best experience possible.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I take trips with my friends/brothers all the time. We work together, eat together, and run companies together. When we go on vacations we love going out of the country or taking a nice trip over to Tampa, Miami or even st. Augustine. I personally love just relaxing on the beach and listing to the waves as it lets my body relax and reload from the stress and overwhelming job owning multiple companies can be. Some of the most fun things to do are go on boats, jet skies, and spend time with the people who you have built success with. That’s why you work hard, “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work”
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Most of my lessons I have learned in my life have come from my coaches. Growing up I played lacrosse, it was my passion, my escape and most importantly my education for life. My coaches; Ron Klausner, Tim & Brian King, as well as Coach Combs have led me to be the man I am today. Their valuable lessons, dedication to my success not only brought success to my lacrosse game but most importantly my life. Everyone has a story and each one of them was important in each chapter of my life.
