Sofia del Rivero | Owner & Teacher
Art Box is a business made to serve the community. Our services provide our clients with both a therapeutic, creative outlet and a new set of technical artistic skills, no matter what age they may be or skill level they may have. Throughout the years, this has been so amazing to witness, especially with students who have been with us for many years and show immense improvement and growth. The preschool and elementary-age students for example, gain so much confidence from being able to successfully create something with their hands from scratch. Watching them run up to their parents at pick-up time to show off their masterpieces is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Art Box does not only offer the gift of artistic skill and technique, but also the gift of happiness, excitement, creativity, passion, and lasting friendships amongst classmates. Read more>>
Joi Elmore | Entrepreneur & App Developer
My start in business began with my business baby Huff & Puff Hookah, which is a mobile catering company for private events throughout South Florida. I’ve learned so much when launching my company in 2017 I’ve had to learn so many things as far building a solid foundation, building vital business relationships, marketing and developing a strong brand for my team. I ran everything by the book and mentored so many along the way. Over the past 2 years I’ve had my hands in many ventures but my newest venture I’m excited about is entering the tech world! My partner and I have developed the Miami360 app that meets the needs of small businesses in the community. As Miami being the hot spot for tourism we wanted to give tourists the real scope of Miami by having a guide to explore Miami as a local. Read more>>
Jennifer Altieri | Founder
Changing lives and creating happiness. Two separate and different business that share this common mission. Influenced by my mom’s example I spent plenty of my life building town playgrounds, chaperoning kids dances and even hiding eggs for the annual town Easter Egg Hunt. It wasn’t that surprising when I created my own 501(c)3 charity. Kindness Shared Happiness Squared has a mission to distribute happiness to kids and animals in need. We run 100% volunteer, no salaries or benefits paid to anyone. Kindness Shared has six programs to help kids in foster care. A program to feed hungry kids on the weekends, and animal therapy programs. We have rescued and continue to care for the 15 animals in our therapy programs. Hope Inrheart Life Coaching for women is my other creation. Hope Inrheart was born out of my own struggles and insecurities. I learned firsthand through my own journey that making the world a better place begins by healing our own heart first. Read more>>
Stan Rudman | Owner & Co-Chairman
My company, Hook & Tackle is the leading brand in fishing apparel since 1989. I never realized till Covid-19 hit all of us hard how fishing became one of the leading outdoor sports in the world over these past months. It was a great way to get outdoors, quarantine and have fun with nature all at the same time. Many became anglers overnight and my company made sure they were all covered up and protected from the sun. Our gaiters became the premier face covering now being used by millions of people around the world. My business works very closely with the community and being a partner of the Miami Dolphins foundation for over 20 years, we have reached out and helped children’s education to helping find a cure for cancer. Our annual FINS Weekend fishing tournament has raised millions of dollars over the years and benefiting the Miami Dolphins foundation. Read more>>

I am an artist and I think especially now, art is extremely important. It can speak when we can’t find the right words to say. It can be amazing the amount one can express and another can understand from a few strokes of a pencil. Art has a way of bridging gaps and bringing people together. It has a way of bridging diversity and speaking to the heart. Art has a way of healing. It is a powerful force for change in our communities and the world. Read more>>
