We had the good fortune of connecting with Erika Caiaffa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erika, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor is being consistent, having confidence & knowing who your audience is. During the consolation meeting, I take my time to understanding who they are, what they need and want to see. Also, marketing my products and services strictly towards my target audience helps ensure successful contracting. Brand slogans are also important, words that pop into people’s mind and that make them remember the services you provide. Our motto is “It’s a Vibe”, which sets the tone for who we are.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Being a self-taught florist, I’ve spent endless hours researching on how to start my business and take care of flowers. Combining vibrant and bold colors into the arrangements make them unique and eye catching. This past February, I introduced a new service “Roses & Rosé” workshop. It was a huge production in which my guest had the chance to enjoy food, drinks, desserts, floral installations and create their own Miami Centerpieces’ styled arraignment. We just don’t deliver gorgeous centerpieces, we deliver an experience and are known for our fun and easy personality. It’s a VIBE!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First, I’d take them for a nice bike ride through South Beach and then catching some sun on the sand while enjoying a few spicy margaritas. Then, we’d head to Mandolin for some delicious Mediterranean food and sangria.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to bring some attention to Liz from Mi Vintage. She’s a smart and positive “Boss Babe” which has a wonderful collection of vintage and modern furniture for all events!
