Deciding to pursue an artistic or creative career path isn’t for the faint of heart. Challenges will abound, but so many of the artists we speak with couldn’t be happier with their choice. So, we asked them about how they made the decision in the first place.

I perused a creative artistic adventure as work, because I couldn’t see myself making a career and life out of anything I wasn’t passionate about. I believe in authenticity and I believe that it runs through everything you do, work, home, spiritualuaity, I couldn’t do anything for a living that wasn’t authentic to who I am. I have always had an eye for things others didn’t since 2nd grade. My teacher gave the class disposable cameras to go and take whatever photos they wanted to. All the kids were taking photos of themselves, while I was taking photos of weird stuff, like lizards fighting. Read more>>
