We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark McMorris jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mark, are you pursuing your passion?
Passion…. Let’s talk about the word passion. When people refer to “passion”, they usually mean strong emotions reflecting an intense desire or boundless enthusiasm. Some people may think of the word to mean love, desire and romance. Passion for me is the strong desire to fulfill a lifelong dream. So it is this passion that gives me the strong emotional ties the intense desire to succeed in my dream. What is that dream you may ask? Animal Rescue. Animals God’s creatures…. Genesis 1:24-25 says God created the animals from the beasts of the earth to the creeping insects. The breath of life resides within them (Gen. 7:15). Did you know that animals even in their cruelty have no concept of morality. As a human being we have the knowledge of good and evil we can choose between the two. Animals can not. Did you know that each year, approximately 2.7 million dogs and cats are killed every year. Shelters are full not enough adoptive homes. Did you know that roughly half of the animals who enter shelters—many are healthy young adoptable—end up how…Euthanized. There are too many animals….not enough worthy adoptive homes. Did you know that many more unwanted animals are simply abandoned to suffer die on the streets languish in lonely backyards without companionship, exercise, or, in many cases, even basic necessities such as food, water, shelter, or veterinary care. Someone once asked me are you pursuing your passion in life. The simple answer….Yes. Helping an animal come back from cruelty abuse abandonment starvation etc there are just no words to describe how one feels when able to help all these litlle souls. No amount of riches will ever replace the love and happiness one feels within himself/herself with the saving of each of God’s Creatures. Some people it is helping other people. My passion… helping animals.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
South Beach for an exciting fun night out. Restaurants I think they are all good.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I cannot in all good conscience single out one person. Those responsible for my passion to help animals goes to all of the rescuers before me and those who will follow.
