Meet 1AMTR1N1TY (I Am Trinity) | Music Artist, Producer, Event Planner

We had the good fortune of connecting with 1AMTR1N1TY (I Am Trinity) and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi 1AMTR1N1TY, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was looking for a new direction in my career due to the pandemic. Before then I was an event planner and had experience with nightlife. When 2020 happened my schedule and expectations for running that company completely changed. And due to a life altering event; I was in a major car wreck; I decided I needed to change my direction in life completely. When I was recovering from a concussion, I found listening to music comforting. To the point where it would actually help in the healing process with minimizing pain. My boyfriend signed me up for DJ classes here in Miami and the rest was history! I started playing around at home on some dj gear and speakers, then eventually started to perform around Miami with private events such as yacht parties. I realized at that time as well that I had a desire to produce and make my own music once I had healed from the accident. I went to classes for that as well and found my own voice as well as authentic, unique sound in music production. Although it was at times like learning a whole new language, I knew I had the passion, desires and commitment to succeed. Now I have put out a few singles such as “My Game”, “Emergency Broadcast, and Don’t Comply. All of these songs are variations of EDM with a big room sound; even combined with techno. I am working on my first album right now to be released early next year and could not be more grateful for the trajectory of my journey. I had no idea it would take me down this path and I remain open to the best possibilities and results of my hard work!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I LOVE the music I have been producing lately. The style that is evolving from my time in the studio, is a style of Big Room mixed with EDM and Techno. What I think makes my music so unique are the breakdowns and drops. Those are my favorite parts of music production; the lowest and highest energy points of the songs. It shows how contrasting sounds and energies can still flow together to make a beautiful song. It’s such a parallel to life; we have different energies and desires within us. Without the shadow as well as the light, ourselves and our lives would be wholly incomplete. The acceptance of this is what has given me the power to continue on my journey one step at a time. I created the character of 1AMTR1N1TY (I Am Trinity) in order to better express myself through music. In ebbing this character, I can encourage my fans to enjoy the darkness within them; while having fun raving out. I don’t make my sound to conform or to be popular. Being 1AMTR1N1TY is all about the beats and words from my heart being expressed to the world. I want to help make my fans aware of the crazy world we live in and how we each have a role to play in setting ourselves free. Music set me free and helped me express the truth in an artistic way; that’s all I could ever want for someone else listening to my beats to feel. Free to have fun!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would 1000% head over to the Design District. I love checking out the Dior Cafe or Baccarat. Then walking to my favorite designer stores such as Chanel, Dolce & Gabana, YSL, and Hermes. I have always found comfort and inspiration from fashion in my live DJ set looks. From my time as a model and fashion show event planner, I love checking out new items; building looks in my mind. It would also help show my friends the Miami standard as well as unique, luxury, art pieces too. Then for nightlife I would head over to Marion in Brickell or Queen in South Beach. Both places are extremely gorgeous and would have my friends feeling like royalty! It’s a chance to see live performances, hear great music, and people watch all while enjoying high quality food!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout out to my life partner Jordyn. He was my rock on recovery, the one who encouraged me in my new found sobriety, and was always there encouraging me when the pain of growth pushed me to the limits. I also wanted to thank my best friends Milly, Sarah, Kelsey, Connor, and Adam. You have always been family to me and supported each twist and turn of my life. I am thankful to these people and to everyone who has been there cheering me on in the process of my life’s unfolding journey.
