We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Coddington and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Other than deciding to work for myself, the single most important decision i’ve made is to surround myself with the right people. Being around people who are just as driven and on the same path as me has helped me scale my business year after year. Taking the time to not only teach and learn from each other but to implement the tools and skills we’ve learned. Being around people who may be on the same entrepreneurial path i feel is okay but you have to find others in your field to help push and challenge you while also being understanding of your field, thats where the real growth happens.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So I am a Real Estate Agent as well as a Real Estate Photographer and i’ve been both for just over three years now. I got my real estate license in 2020 right before the pandemic and about five months later incorporated real estate photography in the mix. I can say something that sets me apart from others is my overachieving need to not only provide exceptional service but create a great customer experience that people will remember for a lifetime. Im most proud of my self and all the growth i’ve had in just three years and I cant wait to explore my full potential and see what the future holds. I can say i’ve gotten to where i am by remaining learning based, persistency, consistency, and keeping a positive attitude. Not every day in business is pretty, i would say it has not been an easy journey. Overcoming challenges will become a daily task, how i overcame them is by focusing on the now, always reminding myself of my big why, and by working on strengthening my mindset every day. Ive learned that many business especially real estate and real estate photography is about coming from contribution. It’s about how can i help you. One thing i would want the world to know is i’ve made no where near the impact i want to make and this wont be the last time you hear about me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
this ones a little tricky because i’m super simple, but it would be happy hour everyday! One of my favorite places to go for happy hour is papamigos in coconut Creek. We would probably hit the beach, do some jet skies, hop on a boat and just enjoy the water. and on Saturday’s one of my favorite things to do would be to go skating. Im not much of the club goer so for a late night I would do a nice dinner at the wine room.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
i do want to thank God for bringing me to where he’s brought me. After that i want to say i’m super thankful for my Mother for always being there and pouring into me, thats one lady i can say has and will always believe in me next to my amazing significant other who always pushes me to be a better version of myself, and to always strive for the best. I also want to thank my siblings for the never ending support. Another thank you to my Coaches and mentors Michael Tralongo & John Dimartino for being apart of my journey for the past 4 years.
