Hi Abel, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued artistic/ photography path for a combination of personal passion, creative expression, and the desire to capture and share meaningful moments with others.

Self-Expression: photography allows me to communicate my unique perspective, emotions, and ideas through visual storytelling. It provides a creative outlet where I can explore different concepts, experiment with techniques, and convey messages that words alone may not be able to express adequately.

Capturing Moments: Photography has the incredible power to freeze moments in time. By pursuing photography, I can capture and preserve significant moments, emotions, and experiences. Whether it’s a stunning landscape, a candid portrait, or a fleeting expression, I aim to immortalize these fleeting moments and evoke emotions in the viewers.

Connecting with Others: photography enables me to connect with people on a deeper level. Through my images, I can evoke emotions, spark conversations, and share stories that resonate with others. It allows me to create a bridge between different cultures, perspectives, and backgrounds, fostering understanding and empathy among individuals.

Creativity and Exploration: Photography offers endless opportunities for creativity and exploration. From experimenting with composition, lighting, and post-processing techniques to pushing the boundaries of traditional photography, I find joy in constantly learning, growing, and pushing myself to create unique and captivating images.

Ultimately, pursuing artistic photography allows me to combine my love for art, storytelling, and connecting with people. It gives me a platform to express myself, create something beautiful, and hopefully make a difference in the lives of others.

What sets me apart from others in the field of photography is the combination of my unique vision, creative approach, and dedication to continuous growth. I take pride in having a distinct artistic vision that sets my work apart. I strive to bring a fresh perspective to my photography, exploring unconventional angles, compositions, and themes. By infusing my personal style and creativity into every image, I aim to create a body of work that is both captivating and thought-provoking.

I am deeply passionate about my craft and constantly seek opportunities to learn and evolve as an artist. I embrace new techniques, experiment with different genres, and push the boundaries of traditional photography. This commitment to growth allows me to consistently refine my skills and produce work that is innovative and impactful.

Challenges are an inevitable part of any creative pursuit. Whenever faced with difficulties, I’ve approached them as learning opportunities rather than roadblocks. I’ve sought guidance from mentors, studied the work of other artists, and remained open to constructive criticism. By embracing challenges and viewing them as opportunities for growth, I’ve been able to overcome them and emerge stronger.

Throughout my journey, I’ve learned several valuable lessons. I’ve realized the importance of perseverance, patience, and self-belief. I’ve learned to embrace failure as a stepping stone to success and to trust my instincts and artistic voice. Collaboration and networking have also played a significant role in my growth, as I’ve learned the power of connecting with other creatives and building a supportive community.

My brand and story are centered around creating meaningful connections through artistic photography. I want the world to know that my work is driven by a deep passion for capturing and conveying emotions, stories, and unique perspectives. I strive to inspire others, provoke thought, and promote empathy through my images. My goal is to create a lasting impact and contribute to the broader artistic community.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting the South Florida area for a week, I would make sure to show them a diverse range of experiences and attractions.

On the first day, we would explore Miami. Start the day with a visit to the vibrant neighborhood of Wynwood. Admire the colorful street art, visit art galleries, and enjoy brunch at a local cafe. Then head to South Beach and spend the afternoon soaking up the sun on the beautiful sandy beaches. Take a stroll along Ocean Drive and explore the iconic Art Deco architecture. In the evening, indulge in a delicious seafood dinner at Ocean Social restaurant in Miami Beach. Afterward, experience the energetic nightlife in the lively bars and clubs of South Beach.

One of the days we would take a day trip to Everglades National Park. Embark on an airboat tour to explore the unique ecosystem, spot alligators and other wildlife, and learn about the rich biodiversity of the area.

One of the days, we would spend the day in Fort Lauderdale. Explore Las Olas Boulevard, lined with boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a Taco Bell waterfront view. Relax on the beautiful beaches of Fort Lauderdale, soak up the sun, and take a dip in the refreshing ocean. Afterward, we would do Happy Hour at El Camino, they have handcrafted delicious cocktails and bites.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my journey as a photographer, there are several people who deserve credit and recognition, and my mom is definitely one of them. Her support, encouragement, and belief in my passion for photography have been instrumental in shaping my path. My mom has been a constant source of support throughout my artistic pursuits. She has always been there to listen to my ideas, provide constructive feedback, and offer a helping hand when needed. My mom has been a cheerleader, motivating me during moments of self-doubt or creative block. She understands the challenges and hurdles that come with artistic endeavors, and her words of encouragement have been invaluable in pushing me forward. Her unwavering belief in my abilities has helped me persevere through difficulties and keep striving for excellence. Artistic journeys can be filled with ups and downs, and my mom has been a pillar of emotional support. She has celebrated my successes with genuine joy and offered comfort and solace during moments of disappointment or setback. Her unwavering belief in my abilities and her ability to lift my spirits have been invaluable. My mom recognizes and appreciates the power of art and photography to touch lives, evoke emotions, and create meaningful connections. Her understanding of the significance of my work has further fueled my passion and dedication to artistic photography.
