Meet Adi Kaplan | Holistic Facialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Adi Kaplan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly, starting my own business was never part of some big plan—it grew from life, love, and necessity. I was a career woman with a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, fully invested in the corporate world. But after struggling for four years to get pregnant, everything shifted once I finally had my first child. All I wanted was to be a stay-at-home mom.
It took a few more years, but when my daughter reached first grade, I was finally able to make that dream a reality. Then, when we moved to the U.S., everything changed again. All three of my kids were in school, and I found myself in a new country, knowing no one. That’s when I felt this deep calling to create something of my own—something rooted in what I had always loved doing personally: taking care of skin, aging naturally, and embracing holistic beauty.
I started building Facial Healing by Adi from scratch—out of passion and the hope that having my own business would give me the flexibility to both work and spend more time with my kids. But in reality, being a solo business owner (and a very ambitious one!) means I’m working almost 24/7. Still, I wouldn’t trade it. I’m building something meaningful, not just for my clients, but for my family and for myself.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Facial Healing by Adi is much more than a skincare practice—it’s a movement rooted in self-love, conscious aging, and energetic beauty. I offer natural, non-invasive techniques like lymphatic drainage, gua sha, beauty taping, and facial reflexology to help women reconnect with themselves and glow from within. What sets me apart is that I don’t just work on the face—I work with the person behind it. Every session is a healing experience designed to release not only physical tension but emotional stress stored in the face and body. I believe beauty is a mirror of how we feel inside, and my mission is to help women embrace aging as a sacred, powerful journey—not something to fight.
Getting to where I am today was anything but easy. I started over in a new country with no network and no name recognition. I built everything from scratch, while raising three kids and learning the American beauty industry as I went. I taught myself how to grow on social media, how to market, how to sell, how to stay consistent—and how to keep going when things felt overwhelming.
I’m proud that I’ve built a loyal community of over 36k women who resonate with my message. I’m even prouder of the clients who leave my studio glowing—not just in their skin, but in their spirit. Every wrinkle softened and every tension released is a reminder that this work is about healing, not fixing.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that there’s no shortcut to authenticity. People feel your energy. When you lead with passion and integrity, the right people will find you. I also learned that running a business means constantly evolving, but your “why” should stay clear and grounded.
What I want the world to know is this: Aging is not a flaw—it’s a gift. Atc48, I can say that my story is proof that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself and create something beautiful from the heart. My brand stands for honoring our natural beauty, investing in self-care, and creating space for softness, even in an ambitious life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami for a week, I’d make sure they had the best mix of food, beach, beauty, and culture—basically everything that made me fall in love with this city.
I’m a simple gal and honestly, part of why I moved here was because of the amazing Israeli food scene. So, food would definitely be a huge part of the itinerary! We’d kick things off with breakfast at Sesame Bakery (probably more than once—it’s my comfort spot!), then hit up Landwer for a casual lunch with that familiar Tel Aviv vibe. For dinner, I’d take them to Motek or Abbale —both feel like home, with fresh flavors and such beautiful energy. We won’t skip a night at Cafe Noir for the loud & upbeat Israeli music scene. And for a health-conscious beachy vibe, we’d grab smoothies or bowls at Pura Vida.
One afternoon, we’d go for pastries and great coffee at Zak the Baker in Wynwood before wandering the art-filled streets. Wynwood is such a vibe—street art, galleries, local boutiques. It’s one of my favorite places to take visitors.
Some evenings would be a little more glamorous. I haven’t made it to Queen Miami yet, but it’s on my must-visit list—so we’d absolutely plan a dinner or night out there. We’d also explore a few rooftop spots for cocktails and views—Miami sunsets are pure magic.
For culture and beauty, I’d definitely take them to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens—it’s stunning and peaceful. Of course, no trip would be complete without some time in South Beach—we’d walk, people-watch, maybe even rent bikes or do a beach workout.
And in between all that? A facial healing session with me, of course! I’d want them to experience the kind of calm, glow, and grounding that I’ve built my entire business around.
Miami is full of surprises, but what I love most is how it blends beach life, cultural richness, and that unique Mediterranean flair. It’s easy to fall in love with this city—and I’d make sure my best friend left already planning their return.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to shout out some of the incredible people who have been part of my journey—because none of this would be possible without the love and support I’ve received along the way.
First and foremost, my amazing husband. He’s been the one cheering me on since day one, the person who believed in my vision before it fully took shape. His support, both emotionally and practically, helped me transform a dream into a living, breathing reality. Knowing that he always has my back has given me the strength to take bold steps and grow in ways I never imagined.
I also want to shout out Anat Mansour for Ananas Visual Storytellers, my brilliant photographer and dear friend. She is so much more than just someone who captures beautiful images—she truly sees me. Anat brings light, creativity, and joy into every project we do together. Her lens doesn’t just reflect the external; it reflects the energy, purpose, and heart behind what I do.
A huge part of my growth has also come from my clients, especially those who continue to refer their friends and family. That kind of trust is the highest compliment, and it means everything to me. I’m incredibly grateful for each and every person who shares my work—it’s how my business has blossomed into the beautiful community it is today.
I also want to recognize industry peers like Sari Avital in Aventura and Leia Rodas in Tampa, who are not only talented in their own right, but also exemplify what true collaboration looks like. And to my fellow colleagues in the wellness and beauty space who understand that there’s room for everyone—thank you. You inspire me. We all have our own unique magic, and I admire those who operate from abundance, who refer, support, and uplift others rather than compete.
At the heart of my work is community, and I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by one filled with heart, generosity, and connection.
