Meet ADRIEN Rappoport | Videographer and producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with ADRIEN Rappoport and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ADRIEN, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my ability to balance flexibility with professionalism. As a freelancer, I thrive in fast-paced, action-driven environments, and I bring that same energy to every project I take on. At the same time, I’m highly selective and strategic when building teams—always choosing the right people for the right job, which ensures top-quality results. Many of my European clients also appreciate that I understand the American work culture, which helps bridge communication and workflow gaps on international projects.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is deeply rooted in human connection. I work alone in the field, which allows me to be fully present and in tune with the people I film. I’m especially proud of my ability to capture the ‘kings of the people’—those everyday heroes—without judgment. I always approach my work with empathy, listening to every voice, no matter how loud or quiet.
My filming style is delicate and human-scaled. It’s not about spectacle, but about intimacy—making sure the camera never overpowers the subject. Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. Working solo comes with its own set of challenges, from technical demands to emotional resilience. But those challenges taught me to trust my instincts, stay humble, and stay close to the human stories that matter most.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just document—I connect. That philosophy is also at the core of my company, ReconnectionVideo.com . The success of the brand comes from this deep respect for people and stories. Clients value the sincerity, care, and humanity we bring to every project. ReconnectionVideo is not just about creating videos—it’s about building bridges, one story at a time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d start things off with a quiet afternoon at the beach on 90th Street. It’s one of my favorite spots—thin, peaceful, and with beautifully clean water. It’s the kind of place where you can really exhale and feel like you’ve arrived.
Day 2: Brewery Day
We’d do a casual brewery crawl, starting at The Epoca Brewery for some seriously good local beer and good energy. Then we’d head to the Nano Brewery, which has a super chill, intimate vibe and always something interesting on tap. It’s the kind of place where conversations with strangers just happen naturally.
Day 3: Waterfront Dinner
After a relaxing day, maybe a walk or bike ride along the coast, we’d end with dinner at Duffy’s, a lovely restaurant right on the water. It’s got the perfect mix of atmosphere and flavor—great seafood, views, and that golden-hour light that makes everything feel cinematic.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
