We had the good fortune of connecting with ALBERT MIZUNO and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ALBERT, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was driven by a passion for creating lifelike, immersive experiences through hyper-realistic 3D visualization. I saw an opportunity to enhance communication and marketing for luxury properties by focusing on detailed and realistic representations.

My journey began with working at several architectural and interior design firms, where I initially created hand renderings in the late 1990s to early 2000s. While working for an interior design firm in South Beach, I developed an interest in 3D renderings. I would come home from work and study 3D software, eventually learning skills good enough to use at work. As they say, the rest is history – I never looked back.

Our work now spans product design, interiors, and full animation for real estate projects. Collaborating with talented interior designers and constantly pushing the boundaries of 3D visualization keeps our work exciting and innovative. This blend of creativity, technology, and collaboration was the foundation for starting Mizuno.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art lies in creating lifelike, immersive experiences through hyper-realistic 3D visualization. My ability to transform digital landscapes into convincing, detailed representations that enhance communication and marketing for luxury properties is what sets me apart.

The journey began with hand renderings at various architectural and interior design firms in the late 1990s. The turning point came while working at an interior design firm in South Beach, where I developed a deep interest in 3D renderings. I taught myself the necessary software, mastering skills I could apply professionally.

It wasn’t easy. The 2008 financial crisis forced me to shut down my visual effects studio in Miami. Pivoting to digital design for architecture, I leveraged my visual effects knowledge to create realistic mock-ups of architectural projects and digital advertisements for products. This adaptation proved invaluable, allowing me to offer clients cost-effective, versatile solutions.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned the importance of resilience, continuous learning, and adaptability. Embracing challenges and constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in 3D visualization have been key to my success.

What I’m most proud of is how my work can seamlessly blend with reality, often fooling even myself. This level of realism is a testament to the dedication and attention to detail that goes into each project.

I want the world to know that my journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and passion. Through continuous learning and adaptation, I’ve been able to carve out a niche in the world of 3D visualization, creating stunning, realistic visualizations that tell a story and provide an immersive experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
success is never a solo journey. I want to give a huge shoutout to a few key people and influences in my life:

First and foremost, my family has been my rock, offering unwavering support and encouragement every step of the way. My wife, Meiko, is not only my life partner but also my business partner. She handles the administrative side of our company with incredible skill and keeps everything running smoothly.

Additionally, the talented interior designers and colleagues I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with have continually inspired me to push the boundaries of what’s possible in 3D visualization.

I also want to recognize my mentors from the early days of my career. Their guidance and wisdom helped shape my approach.
